I don't like these guys for this vehement atheism. Why do they even care about believers? There are many people who died for their faith in Christ. Of course noone can proove Jesus resurected as the Bible says, but what about all those people who were persecuted because of their christian belief that Jesus Christ resurected? Enjoyable video set. The bound library called the Bible has a lot of good and positive things to say that we should heed and practice. It also has a lot of atrocities, and more than one god. Sure, there are consequences to my actions. There are certain behaviors that if I partake in them, will impoverish my experiences with life, and that was true before as it is true now. It doesn't mean it's a work of God and it doesn't mean there is a God. An absolute, all-knowing God would need no justification from you. Wouldn't need us to "add up" things and it's obvious the second you leave out the anxiety caused by the threat of "divine punishment".

Seems like many of the people they interviewed said "anything can happen". Yes but would you say the same for the old Buddha thing, Muhammed or Krishna? There is one good thing about being a nominal baptist, methodist ,etc. It gives you a defense when a mormon, or any other oddball shows up at your doorstep wanting to convert you. You don't have to say that you are a good baptist or methodist, only that you are one. If you tell them you are an atheist or agnostic, they will really want to go to work on you.

Christians got it all wrong. The Jews (even those believe in creation) know that most of the laws, (even if they do believe were the word of god) were to reflect and improve upon contemporary society. Thus, it's formidable to interpret the will of god in order for religion to be suitable for modern standards. There's also the matter of Oral Torah, which represents the dynamic approach to the Bible. The Jews treat it as holy as the written bible while Christianity

And since I can't explain all there is to know about the "Dispensation of Grace" in a YouTube post, I will at-least leave you with this. Galatians 5:18, Romans 8:2 Christians are Spirit-Led Believers, Jesus died to fulfill the law so that we would no longer be bound by it. Hope you open a Bible soon.

Enjoyable video set. The bound library called the Bible has a lot of good and positive things to say that we should heed and practice. It also has a lot of atrocities, and more than one god. It doesn't mean it's a work of God and it doesn't mean there is a God. An absolute, all-knowing God would need no justification from you. I really think that every religion has it's wisdom, beautiful allegories, proverbs and breathtaking stories. Shouldn't we take the best of them -not the worst, like kill or homosexuals by stoning. When you stop thinking on your own and start believing some 2000 year old book that has numerous similar stories in folklore, religions, tales etc and which' values are complitely out-dated has some true value and should be taken seriously... There is one good thing about being a nominal baptist, methodist ,etc. It gives you a defense when a mormon, or any other oddball shows up at your doorstep wanting to convert you. You don't have to say that you are a good baptist or methodist, only that you are one. If you tell them you are an atheist or agnostic, they will really want to go to work on you.

However, I do not see any of these as any deepening historical analysis of the situation as much as P&T's appeal to populism-driven bashing of religion.
