nah, it depends if you know how to use it.=) have you tried it before? its just that it's not user's friendly so if your a beginner, i bet you will get a headache setting up your desired tones lol

hey, the key of live version is lower not because of the worship leader to be able to sing well but for the PEOPLE to sing the songs to God! REMEBER: Worship leaders are merely leading ppl to worship not artists...

Live is different, studio version I believe it's a bit too high for Joel singing it live, and remember, he must sing some other songs live and it's not good overdoing your voice in a song if you have other songs coming up.

Studio version he can record vocals in days and he can push it to it's limits.

yeah actually it's not joel, he's a professional singer I'm pretty sure he can sing a key higher but I've hardly met anyone that can sing this song in B so he lowered it to A which actually still kind of high.

well not to get too music theory wise but keys aren't everything there are many other things that go with it such as which notes, octave, harmony, etc.

It's the difference between the live song and the studio album. Studio Album is in B (probably because it's easier to sing if you're not up on stage tired). Live version (this one) is in A.

yea, this one's in A simply because he knew before-hand his voice would be tired so he dropped it to A so he wouldn't have to stretch to those G#s that he hits in the studio and instead just has to hit an F#, much easier. He can do both, but, of course, A is easier. I believe he does it live in B on the B disc of the Hears As One album ;)
