Messy paint job. You can clearly see that the paint as gone under the tape all over the object. You should use a better type of tape. And press down all edges, just before you paint. And for such large objects it's better to use a larger airbrush. You'll get a better, more even finish. And don't use a high air pressure. This will also prevent the paint from being blown under the tape. Ever though about getting some airbrush lessons from a REAL pro?? (No....not me.... a real pro !!)

Hi,thanks for great tuts.Can you tell me if your painting camo on metal,with masks,do you have to scuff betwoon color coats.before taling off all the ,masks,or just paint over the top until finish,then take off masks?.I'm using auto paint too.Thanks in advance.

That is a very fucking ugly camo job. stencils work much better.Your shapes are too rough edged and your black should of been the shapes as well. otherwise, now, it is disruptive in consistency , and NOT camouflage.

White:trypical sky color, house color

Grey: office buldings, cars, metalic objects

Black: tar, suit color

well all you need is some tape(i like painters tape) the frame and then what ever you are going to paint it with. i paint with spray paint and i dont know if it works the same way but if you are going to do it the way he does and you have the air gun that he uses then all its going to cost is the tape. painters tape over here is about the same as duck tape. about $8

That pattern was called "snowflage" when it was made. Not "urban camouflage". The manufacturer just took the woodland pattern and changed the colors.

I wouldnt recomend using masking tape, 3m has a line of painters tapes that would suit the job better to reduce the chance of lifting.

He most likely used auto air. Some of the best stuff that I know that isn't uber expensive. Great stuff to upgrade to from Createx which creates Auto Air. Both are great paints.

Yeah, it's a cheap alternative to reducer. I wouldn't use it for any professional jobs but for garage projects it's a great way to save a few bucks.
