  • this is the first time i have ever seen les mis, legit. i saw the movie version, and i had heard some of the songs, but the first i had ever actually...y'know...and i LOVED it!!! :) <3

  • First time I got to watch the last chorus. The videos I had found stopped after «face of god». Shivered for a good ten minutes after hearing it. So powerful and beautiful.

  • want to cry!!! absolutely best thing ever ever everrrrrrrrrrrr

  • There is also a reason why there are 0 dislikes.

  • There is a reason this is called The Dream Cast edition....

  • *cries*

I love this part. I love all of it, but when ValJean is dying...sigh. Pure amazing, wonderful, breathtaking beauty. The harmonics are wonderful, the choir does a wonderful job of bringing it all together, and the spirit of the music brings tears to my eyes every time. Nothing beats this cast. Nothing.

  • That last "do you hear the people sing" that starts soft and crescendos like crazy....absolutely BRILLIANT.

  • Just beautiful and I'm glad that fantine (ruthie) came to valjean in his time of need like when he was there for her *sigh*

  • this ending gets me every time. my GOD that is so beautiful, they have the voices of angels <3

  • Colm Wilkinson has the voice of an angel. This music has to be the most thing I've ever heard.

  • Thank you for posting this... It's definitely high time I read the book! :D

  • @MariahWngdAng3l : Please do! It's one of the best books ever written - if you can get through all 1500 pages of it, of course! But, honestly, the musical, while not technically the most accurate adaptation, keeps the spirit of the book really well.

  • @katieluvsmath95 1500 pages? I'll go through that in less then a week! I adore reading! I can't wait to get my hands on it!

  • I love this musical, its my favorite i have seen it many a time yet it always makes me cry. thank you so much for taking the time to post all 15 parts on youtube.

  • i watched this while i active read the book :D

  • Was the song "Valjean's Confession", the song where he tells Marius everything, omitted from this or did I just miss it?

  • @xosrakateox I'm pretty sure it was omitted. It seems like they omitted a lot of the storyline type songs.

  • i love the ending crescendo for "do you hear the ppl sing" *sigh* just gives me chills from 6:32 - 9:18

  • Oh now I have goosebumps. Such a tremendous story and such a moving representation. Thank you for uploading it. Now I'm away to find the book!

  • thnx sooo much for uploading this, really thnx!

  • i enjoyed the book it explained the political sense and it involved the story plot just a bit more

  • made it all the way threw and only 4 tears...lol it's beautiful what can i say....

  • do they know they are breaking one of the 10 commandments???

    if not they should

    :)

  • @FRETbeGORNE Please don't ruin this beautiful thing with stupidity.

  • bravo!

  • this is absolutely beautiful...bravo <3

  • beeyooteeful.

  • uh.... they knew they were singing the message of Jesus Christ... they reference God numerous times in this musical

  • @aemorniel it's the nature of the story. They aren't peddling religion they are sharing a story. Read Les Miserables its in there too.

  • @MusicalRaven oh don't worry, I wasn't making any comment about peddling religion or anything, I was just letting travisshel24 know that they definitely knew they were singing about God. I've read the book as well.

  • @MusicalRaven. Oh good. It's nice to know that others have read the book as well. It's interesting how many people just -assume- things. I love this musical!

  • they sung the message of Christ even if they didnt know it. Beautiful.

  • @travisshel24 what made you think they didn't know it?

  • @ww5320 I dont even remember writing this comment, but to answer you, I saw the making of this musical and how they introduced the storyline and songs to each performer(s), and the directors were presenting this production as a "God themed" musical, not an overtly Christian themed musical. Which is good cause they were being sensitive to the performers knowing they didn't hire a bunch of Christians but professional singers, and yes Im sure that some were/are Christian.

  • amazing!

  • Vundervul!
