How did you get these two mics in phase?

@Rocker8822 Honestly, we put them up fairly "rough" and just went for it in this particular shoot, as we didn't have a whole lot of time with this one at all. The phase relationship wasn't perfect, but workable. As a precaution, we actually slid one waveform just a nudge to improve the phase alignment between the mics. Bricasti reverb helps! Typically, we worry a lot more about positioning to the instruments and voice, and distance/angle between the two mics to minimize the phase issues.

The song is great, the guitar is nice, Cassie is beautiful, and her VOICE is what I was talking about, in mythology sirens produced such amazing songs that boats would crash into rocks to try to follow the sound. I am saying that her voice is so majestic that it is like mythology, it can't be described. Homer could not resist.

i totally agree with huesep. less is more in this case works really well. the lyrics are the focal point in this song. so, having gentle bass lines go along is perfect in my opinion. oh, and her voice is sooo nice! congrats my lady.

Great voice. Great song. I love minimalist versions of songs. A lot of the time I prefer them to the produced or overproduced versions. It's nice to hear a song that shines on it's own merits rather than on those of the production team.
