Sounds like your path might be off. I would check it manually by typing the path to cron directly into the browser address bar. If the path below is correct (with your domain name in front of it followed by a forward slash) you should see the execution of cron. If Moodle is the front page of your website delete "/moodle" from the path listed below. If Moodle is installed in a subfolder you would have to add that to the path.
@cdocalendar Hi, while those are things you might have to do those are not "steps" in the installation process they are "troubleshooting". I couldn't possibly cover everything that might go wrong with any one individual installation. As such, the video assumes you have the correct environment running. If you need to troubleshoot - that is where the Moodle website and your web hosting tech support come in. :-)

Nice video but you forgot a couple of steps. I just signed up brand new on hostgator.
One, you have to add a php.ini file to set globals to OFF.
Two, you have to add an htaccess file to enable php 5.3.5 -- otherwise Moodle 2.1 will not install.
