  • Fantastica, maravilhosa, agradavel aos ouvidos, deslumbrante aos olhos e faz bem ao coração!!! É a oitava maravilha do mundo!!!!

  • I know that I should not compare things like this but Rostropovich's version suits my taste.

  • i love her style

  • omg i want to be as good as u but i started the cello to late im fourteen i bet u started when u where a todler well maybe if i really try it will take me while but hopfuly i'll end up as good as u but i just want to let u know that ur my inspiration.

and another thing i think ur better then yo-yo-ma just saying

  • I disagree that she is more suited to rock. I do get the impression she was distracted most noticeably at the start. Who wouldn't be with the long winded knuckle head introduction and dog running around. I think in the other vid from this session the dog throws up off camera. Arggh

  • she's rather talented, but mischa maisky's rendition is by far the best i've ever heard

  • I think mean mr stickman gets shanked but could probabaly not even throw a punch to save his life

  • not an especially lovely introduction

  • lmfao her version of the prelude sound lame... she's more suited to rock ~_^!

  • need to end capital punishment

  • Great dynamics!! :D

  • I just love how there is just some random chicks with no bras on the windows. <3

  • This sounds almost identical to Yo-yo Ma's version of this song!

  • You play beautifully Tina!

  • a little flat in some parts... but still awsome!

  • Word to the cello.

  • @systemetric it was the cello which produced the squeak

  • LarissaFMatos(Video 02- Prelude n.1/J.S.Bach)

  • the Beatyfull MELODy!! Bach is perfect

  • I didn't even noticed the imperfections. This really moved me. Why did that idiot move the camera to watch the dog?

  • @SabianDarkWolf Because idiots can't do two things at once and he got distracted.

  • many many goos bumbs

  • @ThisIsIrony3 "Extremely" is a little melodramatic, don't you think? Sure there were a few little wisps of extra sound here and there, but I would shudder to listen to an absolutely "perfect" performance.

  • Tina... any plans to come to México again any time soon?

  • *everything serious, Tina ready to play*

    "Quiet!"

    *Tina's consentration lost*

"If anyones cellphone goes off, I will fuckin shank you!"

LOL, anyway I loved it, how old is she??

  • @MegaFather123

    Tina's DOB

    October 28, 1985

Incredibly Disciplined; she is charmingly everything - a treasure.

  • @MegaFather123 She was born 28. Oktober 1985.

  • That was truly beautiful.

  • @ThisIsIrony3 I have to agree. I got pointed to a vid of her that included part of Shostakovich--and that was badly out of tune, so I went looking for more performances to see if it was just isolated. Lovely girl, expressive and interesting rendition. Easy to "see" why she's getting so much attention. ;-)

  • 3:30 squeek ;D <3

  • @MajiiTesting There was a squeak, it wasn't the cello. It was something in the audience.

  • Tina Guo: A Casual Rendition of Bach's Prelude from Suite 1

  • i love this girl!

  • wtf wiith that dog? there's a musician in front and this dude bet that the dog is gonna "rise" the shit up, AWESOME

  • i loooooveee this performance..! mi favoritaaa!

  • Beautifully done. I loved this performance.

  • I've been playing for 17 years. she has done a wonderful job... i dont how long or how good you are, the only way ANYBODY can play ANY piece without any mistakes is if they are a robot. perfect recordings have been remastered by sound engineers... hearing mistakes is what makes listening to live music awesome! it reminds us that the performer is human!

  • To me this is the most exquisitely beautiful piece of music there is. When I hear it I feel as though someone/thing is speaking to me, that beauty has been given a voice.

  • i love those song!

  • i just started practising this piece..it's just lovely..

  • okay i must have got the wrong vibe there lol

  • that was really good, a couple of very small and almost unnoticable mistakes though.

  • How did you notice them then?

  • i have been a cellist for 7 yrs, a pianist for 4 yrs, a violinist and bassist for 3 yrs each. I have developed a fairly good ear for those kind of things

  • @humphreyvivace i noticed them too, but she's better then me

  • youre amazing!

  • @ThisIsIrony3 are you deaf?

  • Loooooooooved it. I've heard the Prelude an infinite amount of times and the repetition is so banal. Thank you for a fresh rendition. :)

  • and anyway! its a modern rendition so even if it was out of tune ***which it wasn't*** it would have been purposeful!

  • uhh its really not!

not one note out of tune!

    great

    perfection

  • Phenomenal. I love your playing!

  • "I will fuckin' shank you."

  • gooooooooood!!!

    best like cello

  • Bella. Great Job.

  • Great!!! You Awesome!

  • Ur amazing. I hope to adopt the cello as my insrtument i bought a violin and said what the hay ill learn to play haha the rhymed... but um my fingers and all tht too fat soo cello looking good right about now.. my violin was cheap american made... 60 bucks online and its black ahaha... but just saying hay i hope all continues to go well ttyl
