  • what type of cobalt do you have looking at buying an 08 but i want the one like yours what is it? being there's like 5 different types of it

  • @Raverrabbit1 lol i bet he feels stupid

  • @Raverrabbit1 Lol, that wasn't meant in regards to your car. Was surfing from mobile phone and couldn't directly respond to a user who asked if he could recreate the blow off valve sound with his supercharged Cobalt.

  • @SharkCityMotorSports lol my appologies bro thought you were just another wanabe car boi shootin his mouth off without know what hes talking about. =P

  • @Raverrabbit1 take it ez bro hes obviously been living under a rock

  • The SS is supercharged. Not turbo'd. There is no Turbo charge blow off valve sound. Instead you have a supercharge Whine

  • I've had my 06 Cobalt SS/SC for over a year now and i haven't had a single problem O.o

  • cobalt ss launch control

  • Is it hard on the engine to sit there and bounce off the 2 step limiter?

  • the only bad thing about cobalts is they have a lot of problems

  • @thekiller13666 Mine hasnt! =)

  • @Raverrabbit1 what kind do you have?

  • @thekiller13666 Lol ummm your asking me this question after you watched my video? Lol umm an 08 cobalt SS turbo....

  • @Raverrabbit1 haha i dint look at the name but i have a 06 cobalt ss and i had to fix a lot of things on prob bc of the guy that had before me

  • @thekiller13666 I had an 06 as well. Mine was the NA 2.4 liter SS and the only problems i had with that was a noisy wheel bearing.

  • They only made 2,537 Cobalt SS's in 2009.

    120 of those were yellow.

My car is 1 of 120.

Info provided by GM tuner source :)

  • Rabbit, i coulda swore I saw a video of a cobalt with rwd on a dyno, yet when I looked the ss up on dealer listings they were all fwd... Is the rwd only specific for certain years of cobalt or was it an option ? Idk man, I could be wrong on the rwd cobalt though, I've been on high dosages of vicodin for like a week now, had some kidney stones removed... 0.0 Haha.

  • @dickmoneysgun Nope all the cobalts were FWD. The only way you saw a cobalt doing a RWD dyno would more or likely be a conversion. Someone probably jacked the drivetrain out of a saturn sky redline or a pontiac solstice GXP and slapped it up under a cobalt. It probably wouldnt be that hard to tell you the truth. So its possible.....but not probable.....but if someone did that would be bad ass!

  • get a supra u could make that car go super fast for little money 30000 is a good budget u could even go lower that just if u want it really fast

  • @Bongxbaker420 eah nah.......i dont really like supra's .....im not a big fan of them....or any run of the mills japanese car that all the tuners are hot to trot about. Everyone wants a supra or a skyline or something like that. The truth is though that its going to be hard to find a supra in decent condition with the right motor that hasnt been beat to shit already. Id rather not buy a car that i can expect to be in the shop or un-drivable for the first 3 to 4 months i own it for repairs

  • Would any of you reccomend buying a Cobalt SS?

  • @zweb620 Of course. especially if you want a fast car that is virtually matinence free save for changing the oils , tires and brake pads.........no stupid 20 dollar timing belt to worry about breaking and causing catostrophic engine failure like most 4 cylinder engines from japan. My brake pads up front have lasted nearly 60K miles. and the interior is holding up remarkably well. check out my other 2 year review video if you want but definitly a reccomended buy from this happy camper!.

  • @zweb620

    only if its turbocharged

  • @zweb620 yes i would its a nice 2 door car to get u to point a to point b and its decently fast so in case any one calls u slow you let that turbo kick in and show them whos slow have a nice day :)

  • @zweb620 I would definitely recommend it. I've had my '05 SS for about 4 years (got it in '07 with 29,000 miles on it). Up to about 70,000 now and the only thing that's malfunctioned was the sunroof... which turned out to be a $100 fix. Other than that it's cheap, well made, fun to drive and even when I'm punching it from light to light I'm still getting 30mpg's

  • I like the explanation. Very well spoken. Very clear. The only thing I'm wondering about is how to do the no-lift-shift. Is it as easy as never having to let off of the gas? Do you need to press the clutch?

  • @jonsco6 Yeah You shift the same way but just dont take your foot off the gas

Use the clutch like you would any other time to change gears but just keep your foot on the gas

  • @will4h26 yeah right go fucking troll your happy ass on someone elses video fag. So go take your fucking pos g35 lovin ass and get fucked. Your nothing and your car is nothing oh and btw. You don't know nuttin......bro.

  • @Raverrabbit1 Hey man I wouldnt hate on the G35. I really dont understand why people hate on anyone else's ride unless it is a true hunk of junk. Take your Cobalt....great car and it looks like you take care of it. If someone has a sick ride I respect it.

  • @fish4kbcf in all honesty i don't have anything against the G35 at all. The guy who came onto my page and started trolling how junky my car was had a g35 so he wanted to come onto my page and start hating on my car so i threw it right back in his face. I really dont have any hatred towards any particular car in general since its all merely a matter of opinion, i just wont stand for people coming here and bashing my car for no reason. =) . I dont hate unless the person asks for it.

  • yeah i would race your little bitch ass, where are you? you look like a G.I you have no clue bout nothing brother i win then would take your car and park it in the middle of the interstate and pray its stolen by another little no class ricer fag

  • Anti radar? Aren't they illegal in the states?

  • yeeaa u drive stick

  • 2:37 a bike fly past u? lol

  • @XxAtomic646xX No it was going the opposite direction i was just down the street from the harley shop and they sell all types of bikes there not just harleys and buell's

  • i dont have launch control so i gotta try and catch it on the upswing =(

  • @kurtnesass Do you have a cobalt SS turbo?

  • @Raverrabbit1 nope wouldnt want one either

  • turbo+cobalt= a quicker ugly car

  • @will4h26 Nicer looking then your lexus jerk

  • @Raverrabbit1 the car in his profile is an Infinity.

  • @unoo1991 Yeah i knew that but for some reason i typed lexus instead of infinity oh well mistakes are made every day still wouldnt want one

  • @Raverrabbit1 When I no lift shift in my Honda Civic my engine revs really high, is that normal or am I just not shifting fast enough?

  • @matthewcardinals Thats because your CIVIC wasn't made for no lift shifting and NLS in a car without turbo is pointless really. No lift shifting isn't just a manuver. My car was programmed with a WOT code that holds my engine RPM between shifts to hold boost pressure in my manifold so i don't have turbo lag going into the next gear. No lift shifting in your honda.... yeah your engine is going to race between shifts that is normal but that is also really really hard on your clutch.

  • @Raverrabbit1 Alright thanks. So you really only need to no lift shift on a turbo charged car?

  • @matthewcardinals More or less but most turbo cars arnt programmed to do the No lift shift. its a code in the computer that lets the engine throttle the butterfly between shifts to maintain boost pressure. In any normally turbo charged car as soon as you let off the gas or push down the clutch the boost pressure blows off and takes a second or so to rebuild (turbo lag) but with the no lift shift i dont have to worry about turbo lag going into the next gear since it gets maintained with NLS

  • @unoo1991 that's even worse lol

  • @Raverrabbit1 Well your not looking very hard id race you for pinks easy to talk shit on here

  • @will4h26 Look whos talking dick head. You know i dont know why i should have to look hard for that one g35 that beat one cobalt SS when all the other hits from g35 vs cobalt ss are of the g35 getting smoked out. Im sorry but statistic videos show when more g35's are getting beat then cobalt ss's then im pretty sure the g35 is a slower car. And even when the cobalt gets beat its not a Turbo its a supercharged.......sorry son do your research

  • @will4h26 And no you wouldnt race me for pinks. Just go ahead and talk your shit up. you aint got the nuts to put your car up against mine in a race. Go ahead and hide behind youtube and act like a macho punk. Truth is you wouldnt put down shit. pound for pound the cobalt beats the g35 all around and you can look up 1/4 mile times to prove it the g35 will run like 14.3 and the ss turbo runs like 13.7's. You couldnt handle me from a roll

  • @will4h26 Congrats. You are an idiot. Google Cobalt SS track record, and you will have all of the proof you need. Nevermind what a Stock Cobalt SS will do to your pretty lex on a track with corners.

  • @cobaltuniversedotnet well for starters i got an infiniti jack ass its made by nissan eat a banna split sack face

  • @will4h26 Ok. Infiniti then. The same thing applies. Don't take my word for it though. Look it up yourself. Hmmm.. I'll tell you though a Banana Split does sound pretty good right now.

  • @will4h26 its still slower then my cobalt............hows it feel to own a car that costs 10+G more and still gets smoked out by a chevy 4 cyl >=)

  • @Raverrabbit1 well since its not slower and looks two times as good as this glorified caviler i think i did well, oh try youtubing Cobalt vs. G35

  • @will4h26 well since it is slower since i did youtube cobalt vs g35 and only saw ONE supposed video of a g35 beating an SS and thats not even a confirmed turbo cobalt that could have been a SC or a 2.4L since he never showed but all the rest i watched showed the g35 falling to the SS/TC and even one lost to a SC and looks are subject to opinion but i would hope for 10K+ more in base price i should hope you got some nicer interior plastic....

  • @will4h26 I laugh at the fact im seeing g35's having troubles beating Supercharged cobalts but are all getting eaten alive by Turbo cobalts even if the g35 gets off the line before the cobalt does the cobalt still hunts it down and says ..............CYA!!!!!

  • @will4h26 Hmmmm sifting through all these cobalt SS vs G35 videos and im not exactly seeing many stock g35's beating cobalt ss's in general .......supercharged or turbo charged.........so........you fail. G35 < SS/TC FTW

  • Its still a cobalt

  • ok all the people on here bashing the NLS need to do some research on the feature before you talk shit nothing will happen to the clutch because its all controlled by the PCM and why get an auto theres no point you can still run the car shifting normally ppl are so stupid when they have no idea what they are talking about my SS turbocharged runs a 12.4 with only bolt ons at 113MPH so how could you complain with that no car in small class can come close to comparison

  • @kromko52 Thank you for this. I was irritated at the lack of knowledge by these people saying it will fry the clutch. NOOBS

  • 3:00 of talking and 0:12 of showing.

  • No lift shift, might as well get a automatic. Just give me a NORMAL 5-6 speed with a clutch. No paddles, tripatronics, or Ebonics lol

  • no lift shift, cool feature till the clutch is fried

  • @alexeliep5 The feature keeps you from burning the clutch up, otherwise it would just be power shifting.

  • if u power shif in a turbo car will u lose boost?

  • @mdksdmf Yes. Unless your turbo car has a WOT box or some kind of electronic two step controller like the cobalt's launch control you will loose your boost.

  • if u power shift a turbo will u lose boost?

  • @mdksdmf Power shift you mean hold the gas down while shifting right? If you have an external blow off valve it will also hold boost because the external valve is linked to your throttle instead of the computer controlling it

  • @Roq999 Thats not true.....an external blow off valve may be independant of any computer controls but it is still pressure controlled and when you leave the throttle open and disengage the clutch it will cause a surge in manifold pressure causing the BOV to blow off anyways because your unloading the motor it would be the same thing as trying to build boost at idle the way your talking. Thats why you still have to get a WOT box if you want keep pressure between shifts.

  • @Raverrabbit1 I was referring to mdksdmf he was talking about never letting off the throttle when shifting.

  • @Roq999 Yeah thats no lift shifting .......leaving your foot on the gas between shifts because your not lifting your foot off the gas

  • ha ha nice always loved the ss/tc coupe thanks for the info man

  • lol yeah but the cobalt is only 2.0 the srt4 2.4 i still stuck between the srt4 or ss/tc

  • @slowstanglt1 the SS has more HP and torque at 260 hp with 263 ft\lbs of torque the srt is only like 236 Hp so engine size really makes no difference here plus both SRT's handle like bricks. Good for going fast in a straight line. Just a little Slower then the cobalt ssTC but Cant match it in the turns

  • @slowstanglt1 I have owned an SRT-4 for six years and I absolutely love it. The engine can handle a lot of power without being built up and parts are cheap, however, the interior is cheap and there is nothing to rave about. I think the cobalt's inside is much nicer, so that is something to consider.

  • @Roq999 Lol what do you mean parts are cheap? Its a DODGE! Dodge doesnt make any cars with cheap parts. Shit a standard brake job on anything dodge will cost you 100 dollars just for brake pads! Dodge has never been good about making cheap car parts like everyone else does...probably because its all american made shit so instead of paying some foreigner 2cents an hour they paid some guy 20 bux an hour to make parts...thats the only thing ill ever give dodge props for... keepin it in america

  • @Raverrabbit1 Cheap in price, not quality is what I meant. My dad owns an SRT-6 (all Mercedes internals) and his parts are absolutely ridiculous in price.

  • @Raverrabbit1 I believe he means performance parts....

  • @xampx2k7 Thats hardly relevant. It really depends on what your getting to. I mean you could essentially put the same turbo on either car for the same price and having looked around at stuff before i can honestly say the price difference is only Manufacture specific meaning that HKS parts for either will be expensive but you can always find cheaper stuff elsewhere but GM's turbo upgrade kit is by far the best HP/TQ per dollar factory performance kit available

  • @Raverrabbit1 amen man

  • @Raverrabbit1 So wat vehicles do u reccomend?

  • @theodor33e I dunno it depends on what you wanna do with it and what your willing to sacrifice to get something else thats better.......like for some people the interior of my car is made with shitty plastic they want something nicer but then they sacrifice power or control for something with nicer interior. I dont really hate any specific cars except for SRT4's but buying a car is a more personal preference then this car is better then that. Go with what you like..cuz its gonna be your car!

  • @theodor33e I mean obviously i highly recommend my cobalt because $ for performance its above anything else in its class. I could list off a whole ton of things this car has and youll look at other cars and see that they are all missing a lot. But like if AWD is important to you buy a subaru ...sorry guys FYI mitsubishi lancer's suck and have always been rated lower then STI's and the STI has always been less problematic all around. Plus Subaru is king of AWD!

  • @theodor33e Thankx bt I'll settle for a 2010 or 2011 Cts-V for now :(

  • everyone know if you wanna go fast in a newer car be cobalt ss tc but theres always the srt4 just as fast or even faster depends on driver. and the thing about a cobalt ss is that it comes in a coupe so yeahhhHhHhHhHh

  • @slowstanglt1 Nah the cobalt SSTC outperforms both SRT4 models in every aspect. Stock srt4's cant even keep up .....i know ive beaten quite a few =P

  • I love my interior, heated leather seats, pioneer system, sunroof, I do wish it had the launch control and no lift shift. Losing boost is a pain, but then I open the sunroof and blast my music and look at my mpg then im happy again.

  • Comment removed

  • Have you had the turbo upgrade kit installed? When I found out that the 260hp, 260tq could be re-tuned to 290hp, 340tq I couldn't resist. I definitely lost a few mph on the top end but it was well worth the quicker acceleration. I'm thinking it upgrade the 0-60 from the 5.4 sec stock to something closer to 5 sec flat or maybe the upper 4 sec range. 'Twas definitely worth $500

  • did anyone notice the motorcycle fly by at 2:38!?!?!?

  • thats jack black

  • Launch control? Completely useless in a FWD car.

  • @rednquick182 Depends on if you got sticky tires and a limited slip differential..........and i have one........gotta drive my car in winter so i cant afford to buy sticky summer tires and winter tires so i gotta get midline all season radials which dont really hold down the power in 1st gear so launch control = useless for me

  • You sound American..are you American? Oh wait your car. Okay.

  • How do you use the no lift shift? My RPM's still shoot up when I keep my foot on the gas.

  • @Shaneworld5978 Do you have an SS turbo? if you do then you gotta get that bitch almost redline before you shift then keep your foot on the gas and shift ......it shouldnt shoot up much at all more or less should just maintain RPMS between shifts till you get into the next gear.

  • @Raverrabbit1 Cool. Thanks.

  • @Raverrabbit1 Its an 09.

  • Is the traction/launch control option available on the supercharged models, or only the turbos?

  • @megaenvy Only the turbos

  • @megaenvy You can buy a module for the turbo units...the module is like $179.

    Its by NM2B

  • @MikeW259 the cobalt ss turbo comes factory with these options ......no need to buy a box unless its for an SS supercharged. But i think what the 06 SS supercharged came with Traction control at least i thought they did...........if not youll need more then just a module id think. Youd probably need wheel speed sensors and all that junk to get traction control.

  • @Raverrabbit1 Yea...i was refferring to the launch control...and i meant to say the supercharged version.

TC is a BITCH to try to install as an aftermarket option.

  • @megaenvy Sorry only the turbo models came factory with the Traction control/launch control function

  • Launch control? And you want me to believe that you can dump the clutch at 5,000rpm without destroying it or worse, the axles? I wonder how long it will last....

  • @guyd37 GM put a much more robust clutch in the car and did over 100 controlled launches then checked the disc for wear and they said it didnt wear much at all and the axles for the ss turbo are much much thicker then the ones on the SS/SC but i dont launch control much though thats more of a track feature then a street feature cuz then all you really end up doing is a nice juicy burnout. City streets arnt sticky like a track's tarmac

  • Hey man I like the video

Can you explain something to me though?

I thought all the 2008+ Cobalts that were turbocharged, had a screen on the A pillar (in place of where your boost gague is) that would tell you the boost, oil pressure, oil temp, etc. Was that an extra option to get that? or whats the deal?

  • @Guitarman132 actually no it was the 2009+ that came OPTIONAL with the DPR display on the A pillar. Ive been on the lots a few more times and i see 2010's that still have the analog boost gauge like mine. Doesnt seem to be a huge demand for it and i dont really understand why. I looked at a conversion kit for mine so i could get one in and it would have cost me like 600 bux for the kit so i said screw it

  • I hear no turbo and if you do wow ... slowest turbo modded car i have ever seen in my life lol

  • @iTzzEuphoriaaaaaa its stock...

  • @UYNProductions Uhm if its an ss they come turbo stock you faggot

  • @iTzzEuphoriaaaaaa i know? lol

  • @iTzzEuphoriaaaaaa Then i think you better check out my 2 year review if you wanna hear that turbo

  • " MAYNTAYN BYOOOOOOOOST "

  • you talk too much.

  • something fast zooms by him @ 2:35

  • @lazyboy2oo6 souds like a shitty civic with a fart can thinking hes fast. we call that a ricer flyby lol thats the only way they can win is if they start 20 miles back and floor it by you hahaha

  • @00prixgtp Lol for like the 100th time it was a damn Buell motorcycle i was right near the harley shop..........god damn faggots and their harleys =P ( south park reference)

  • @lazyboy2oo6 wasnt a cobalt ss for sure

  • I love your car. Very nice!

  • LOL 2:10 BOOST

  • I want one of these SS cobalts, I dont get the launch control?? So it lets you just floor it and dump the clutch?

  • @whtswrngwthupeople Its like a 2-Step launch.. you hold the gas down and it revs at 5 rpms.

  • @whtswrngwthupeople it lets u dump the clutch at an optimal rpm point so that you get the right amount of power without too much wheel spin and is consistent

  • @prosurfer2222 remember the clutch isn't covered under warrenty, that's pretty crazy of GM to encourage people to abuse their car like that.

  • @whtswrngwthupeople really?....lol thats fucked up....nice car tho ive always loved the cobalt ss'......i love everything bout the new turbo one....but i miss the whine of the supercharger

  • @prosurfer2222 yeah, clutches, brakes, window wipers, and tires are never covered under a car warrenty because they wear out.

  • what camera are you using here????

  • @revbasher444 Im not sure what you mean its a panasonic HDD video camera i bought last year why?

  • @Raverrabbit1 lol. im asking because the quality is amazing.

  • you know you have the same steering wheel as the ZR1 :P

  • hah my grand am would smoke this in reverse :)

jk cobalts arent bad but they have bad resale values and id rather spend a little more and get 2004 gto

  • this is a great car

  • Have you ever been to the drag strip with it? I've been to the strip twice with my 09 SS and I havent been able to get below a 2.4 60ft which sucks balls but I havent been using the Launch Control. Would it help? No way for me to find out until next year now though.

  • does it have to be in launch control mode to do no lift shift?

  • @mysliwya doesnt have to be but id highly reccomend it since if your tires break loose it will bog the motor out cuz of the traction control system

  • this is the only chevy i would ever buy

  • cool i'm just looking to see if i can change my rpm reving from 4500 to up

  • lmao back pressure is how you loose boost between shift. did your g/f tell you that?

  • @red1999gsx yeah actually she did......tell your mom i said hi and that ill be over to pick her up for our date tomorrow.

  • @Raverrabbit1 what a good comeback... lol

  • @Raverrabbit1 OH!!! lol

  • what was that car that passed u at 2:39??

    sounded nice

  • @DYNO323 That was a Buell motorcycle going the opposite direction ......the harley shop was right down the street from me.

  • Do automatics cobalts have something similar to launch control

  • @airline2009 No.....lol they dont really need it cuz they dont have a clutch

  • @airline2009 Actually on my 07' auto 2.2l and im assuming on up, if you press the brake and the gas all the way to the floor at the same time, the electronics will hold the car at roughly 2000 rpm. So if you drag race you can footbrake with out trying to hold the rpms. To launch you simply let off the brake quickly

  • It helps you maintain BOUUUUSSST.

  • @Marshmallowrex Yo marsh ILL race ur honda in my lawn mower. Sound good? I fuckin hate these types of people

  • @Marshmallowrex was looking around for some vids of a turbo ss cobalt inside. nice ride. i play with camaros but looking for a good around town ride. gonna look around for a turbo cobalt. looks loke a fun ride. also i can actually afford one.

  • @Marshmallowrex What are you, Spongebob? What's up with all the "BAHAHAHAHAH!" crap?

  • im trying to figure out how 30 seconds of info turned into over 3 minutes of some guy rambling about crap lol

  • damn that no lift shift! thats ridiculous! and cobalts run 15psi stock?!

  • @Marshmallowrex what the fuck is a crs.......do you mean crx?

  • @Marshmallowrex Oh well you cant fix a honda like that anyways its to retarded to be fixed properly and i highly doubt it has more then 200 Hp anyways so i dont know why your dogging me for not having 250 to the wheels when i can bet you cash your pos honda couldnt smoke me out anyways

  • @Raverrabbit1 Dude, your car is very nice. And it's pretty close to putting 250 to the wheels. I saw a vid on here of a stock ss/tc Cobalt and he put down like 246hp.

  • @Marshmallowrex whats that thing run anyways ......low 17's mid 18's what its hard to gauge since your intake manifold is apparently leaking with all that extra boost your pushing through your tiny little turbo. Sorry little honda cant even hold 3 lbs of boost without blowing a gasket.....boo....hoo Thats why you dont post video's of your POS car RUNNING like a POS. Oooo look my honda has a turbo but it dun run right.....im awesome aint i?!

  • @Marshmallowrex hahahah better then your 170 Hp hahahahaha hatin ass looser. Get a real car and quit being a teenaged wanna be ricer

  • @Marshmallowrex Faster then your broke ass POS honda wanna be race car

  • @Marshmallowrex Well im sorry to hear that but whats that got to do with my car?

  • Turdbalt=POS rental car with a turbo, anyone who would rather buy American than Japanese clearly hasn't driven both.

  • @ctra123 OR the american's finally made a car better then the japs POS honda civic's and mitsubishi eclipse's OH and btw jackass ive driven all this shit JAP crap, euro trash and domestic as it was part of my job so just grow up and face reality and join the 2000's ......the days of the civic being the lil car of choice of the little wanna be racers is over

  • @Raverrabbit1 i couldn not have said it better dude ! Thumbs up.

  • @Raverrabbit1 I have Joined the 2000's and I have to tell you that I am still not impressed with anything America has to offer except maybe Ford that is the only American car i'd even consider buying cobalts may be fast but they are ugly on the outside and the inside and if your turdbalt is so good why is the resale value so bad

  • @ctra123 well i can tell you i have driven more cars then you have and i dont mind cobalts soo keep talking crap....ill race your jap car and we will sse who keeps talking so not calling you out but clearly you have not driven both either

  • @lilballa8189 All cars have their good points and bad points so callling one car better then the other shows the level of ignorance most people have. The ideology of what makes a car better then the other is all in the eye of the beholder and what you intend to do with it. For all intensive purposes the cobalt is an all around performer over the SI which has some sporty features yes and maybe some better built interior and electronics but doesnt change the fact ill still blow its doors off

  • @lilballa8189 Actually I have driven both I used to have an SI and while i will admit that the Turdbalt is a lot faster, there is no comparison in build quality the cobalt is junk and good luck on resale

  • @ctra123 you dont buy a car like this and think about resale value. I bought mine because it its fun, cheaper and faster then an Si or GTI and comes with a better 100,000 miles back up on the power train. The Si has I sick six speed I loved it but its slow loud and ugly on the out side nice inside. people love to steal civics I dont have to worry as much with the cobalt thanks to onstar. Who steals a cobalt anyways lol . It might hold some value like the GNX who knows.

  • @mysliwya Yup the same way the SRT4 is worth like 5K now =P. They are still fun to drive if you can find one around that still runs

  • @Raverrabbit1 Are you looking at salvaged titles, or cars with 120,000 miles on them. BTW they all still run.

  • @seiferx8 btw no they dont.....most of the srt4's that used to be running around here are all in the scrap yards now. Dumb kids dont know how to drive blowing up transmissions, motors and forgetting the srt4 steers like a brick and crashing them into shit. Theres only one that i know of still left in my town and its for sale. Ive looked and the next closest one for sale is 120 miles away and they want 10G for an 04 srt4 with 98K which is really BS if you ask me

  • @Raverrabbit1 umm stock srt-4 internals are good for 450-500whp . by blowing up the engine im sure you mean spinning rod bearings by lack of maintenance like an oil change . the trannys are bulletproof also , good for 600whp with an upgraded clutch . as for the steering , any fwd car with descent power will torque steer especially with a beefy lsd ... all you cobalt guys love to do is bash the srt-4 ... its getting old dude . i will show you how good the srt-r internals and tranny are shortly .

  • @Red97Avenger Lol Ill call BS on that one. The SRT4 requires major engine modifications to get past 400 WHP and as for the transmissions? Fuck thoes things cant make it past 300 without shelling out the differentials. the side and pinion gears in the srt4's differential are notorious for grenading under high torque because of its tendancy to torquesteer not to mention the fact that the cut of the helical gears isnt exactly robust and thoes tend to chip out and chew themselves appart
