Actually I lived in Puerto Rico for awhile where Iguanas walk around like wild dogs. They also find themselves in the most strangest places ever. I remember going on a tour to the Bacardi Rum factory, ad the tour bus driver said if you hear a "thump" on the roof that's iguanas jumping off trees and onto the bus.

yah if ur gun is slow say 300 400 fps feet fer sec try not to shoot big birds-crow-magpie's side on in the wing they glance off and fly away. chest shots are quieter and some time others will say for 2nd shot. if shooting up aim half way between head belly

Pistols are good fun but you really should be quite close to get a good head shot. Rifle and scope is the way to go. There are some good (and quiet) pneumatic ones around... so as to not alert neighbours!

I had my air rifle when I lived in the UK. My back yard had a valley with train tracks behind it. There wasn't much in the pellet path except my targets (i.e. pigeons and squirrels) and trees. But when ever I did a bit of shooting, I would see people looking out of their windows!
