  • Oh my god, the guy is squatting 440 lbs and has bad form at 0:45

I'm sure he feels his feet going slightly numb during the work out session

  • who is that at 3:26????

  • I think the 200+ lb tricep curl was the best

  • i want to be able to life those kinds of weights so i can scream like a girl after

  • What the fuck is that floor made out of? I've seen these kind of weights chip reinforced concrete...

  • @AnAverageNobody

    lol.

It's nothing special dude, there are a lot of youtube videos showing how to built your own Olympic Platform. Cost like 200 dollars.

  • 3:30 lou from little britain

  • the Snatch at 6:30 is fuckin boss.

  • Koklyaev is scary strong.

  • I've been Olympic lifting a while, and squat hams to calves all the time. I've yet to have knee problems or inability to walk.

Whoever says that's what happens after they try this stuff likely needs to reassess their technique/form or perhaps get the necessary flexibility.

  • some people never seen an olympic lifter in real life. Thinking they aren't big is ignorant. They are way more muscular than you think. Bodybuilding destroyed the view on a muscular body

  • I wonder if this results in knee damage long-term?

  • @DannyFavorite Not for them apparently but it did for me. Then I stopped squatting like an Olympic lifter and started doing it powerlifting style. No problems (in training) since. Tried to squat like them once again though, a few months back. I couldn´t walk for days.

  • @DannyFavorite Any injuries result typically result from the sheer volume of lifting they do (2-3 times a day, every day). The lifts themselves are generally regarded as safe; even in scientific literature an ATG squat has been suggested to be completely fine for the knees.

So for the average lifter or athlete, ATG should not result in knee problems unless the form is incorrect.

  • 860 pounds 3 times

  • I demand Strength Feat Compilation (5) to be made already. Featuring Hossein Rezazadeh, Derek Poundstone, Laszlo Meszaros' Raw World Bench record, new Konstantin Konstantinovs videos, and Salimi's WR 214kg Snatch. Anyone thing they have have enough footage and time to create such a masterpiece?

  • Quite simply the best vid on youtube.

  • 6:45 The most badass dump I've ever seen.

  • 2nd guy at 0:22 = EPIC WIN

  • how is 5:56 280 kg?

  • @nuttyballs99 50kg plates

  • @deemee693 if you ask me.....no. but, in powerlifting at least, RAW allows wraps and a belt. If you lift in an equipped federation, they use bench shirts, and squat and deadlift suits, which are not allowed in a RAW meet

  • @deemee693 no

  • I think the name of the guy @ 1.33 is Xing-Lee Norris

  • The difference between Strength Training and Size Training is the amount you eat

  • Comment removed

  • @fguo90 not really. it's more the style of training. strength training typically favors heavy weight and low reps where as size is lower weight, higher reps. of course they're are strength athletes that incorporate some higher rep work into their training, as well as bodybuilders who add a bit of power and olympic type lifting though

  • I love how all of the squats except for one were ATG olympic style. Woot.

  • Why aren't they fucking huge those guys there lifts so heavy weight? They're so small. I'm fucking 16 and nearly bigger than them, how is it possible?

  • @Immotalitis It's more about technique and power than size or muscle mass. I'm over 300 pounds and could not do half the weight in most of these. It is still surprising to see a man weighing about 150 squat about 3x his bodyweight though.

  • @Immotalitis The reason why these guys are not huge, is because there is ZERO correlation between strength and size. Forget what your gym buddies and coaches have told you. Strength is one approach to a workout. Size is an entirely other approach. For strength, you keep reps low, weight high, and do everything possible to make the weight go up. In size training, you don't worry about the weight, but go higher reps and more sets, making the muscle group do all the work alone.

  • @davidsirmons Don't talk down to me. And that there's "ZERO correlation" is ignorant said, of course you also get big by strenght training, as you can see on all the athletes. Non of them are wimps, they're all big, but just not bodybuilder big. And I know exactly the difference between mass-training and strenght training.

  • @Immotalitis I wasn't 'talking down' to anyone. I was conveying information only. If you're aware of the difference between size training and power training, then your original question was unnecessary.

  • @davidsirmons Of course it wasn't unnecessary if I were wondering how the fuck they can be so small and lift so much.

  • great compilation. terrible music. rap metal just sucks.

  • songs??

  • @demoncoreftw songs......

1st: machine head - all in your head

2nd: machine head - from this day

3rd: machine head - ten ton hammer

  • Sick!!!!!!

  • Is that Kakhiashvilis at 5:45. Also where is the original video of that squat

  • i think i met my hero at 6:30

  • @davidsirmons im not sure if youre being sarcastic, but marcin dolega is in the 105 class and the world record for snatch in this class is 200kg, so there is nothing average about him doing 202.5kg!!

  • what's so great about that guy at 6:28 people?? Nothing. It's an average weight for a guy in his weightclass. It's not spectacular. In fact, I wish I could edit it out because of it's non-spectacular-ness.

  • @davidsirmons

The fuck? This a troll? That's 202.5 kilos. He's a couple dozen pounds from the heaviest snatch in history, while being considerably lighter than the lifters throwing up such numbers.

  • @davidsirmons not sure if srs, or just deluded.

  • what's so great about that guy at 6:28 people?? Nothing. It's an average weight for a guy in his weightclass. It's not spectacular.

  • Powerlifters. Bodybuilders. And Olympic lifters? Werid combo lol there all so differnt sports...

  • Wow repping 750lbs in squat is legit.

  • where did you find the clip with boevski if you don't mind me asking?

  • Comment removed

  • 70+kg squating 280kg.. for f*** sake that is Insane..

  • 6:28 OMFG

  • Music???

  • @smith62136 machine head

  • 0:59 the guy on the right is Abadjiev?

  • @FelinoImploso Yes, that's him.

  • Good weightlifting is like good sex:

1-5 hard reps and then a 5 minute break :D

  • the smoothness of the front squat at 1:37 is insane

  • @dunniee haha, that was the exact word that came out of my mouth when I saw that .... smooth.

  • In soviet Russia wieghts lift you!

  • 5:55 guy on the right was like 'did that guy just benched 280kg? I'm a wimp'? :p

  • 6 : 25 POLSKA KURWA POWER !!!!!!! RECORD

  • AWESOME! I've been trying to find a vid like this for a long fucking time. Thank you!

  • bald guy's reaction on 3:24 was EPIC XD

  • u no whats awesome about this video, everyone who u see on it looms like a normal person, non of them look like juiced up roid monkeys, they just look normal size bt with such imense strength:)

  • 最高です(;´Д`A

  • these videos are so damn bad ass. i watch one before every one of my workouts because they never fail to pump me up right before i go out there to tear it up. than you so much for making them and i hope you keep making them.

  • 3 people are aerobics instructors

  • songs please?

  • how do you know the kilos in every lift?

  • @BrainTrance Even though I'm not the creater of the video: Mostly due to the color of the plates. Other values are taken from the original source I think.

  • the front squats at 4:18 are amazingly fast! wow.

  • @gimmetehroids well that is kim tae-hyun, who clean and jerked 260kg in 2000 sydney olympics

  • When SFC5 will create?

  • Please tell me what is the name of the song!! I must have it!

  • @unclefacker machine head - all in your head:)

  • man those guys have some strong legs! too bad their knee joints are gonna be gone in a few years

  • @icedog141 yes i am always thinking that ... its so coool .. but i think there bones are shit in some years ..

  • why asian guys makes everything look so easy ?

  • you got to mention the weight of the lifters or it doesnt mean shit

  • @PANZYUTUBEIS ya would be helpful but its just a strength video bra

  • 405 bench is not raw... elbow things make your joints springy

  • 6:23 is our polish man- Marcin Dołega- champion

  • 06:27 was the craziest. damn so much weight

  • Less talk more squat

  • What's the name of tune @ 1:30? Going to start adding some 'tunes' to my workout routines.

  • Who's the guy squatting 240kg at 4:35 and what video is it from?

  • but the most of this guys are pretty slow.

  • @Manuelcr7 doesnt matter and trust me, weightlifters has great explosive strenght.

  • @MrKrezz

i know. that was a choke. maybe the heavy weigth class guys are not fast.

but the most under 85kg oly lifters run a 40yard dash below 4.5s

  • damn..didn't feel like lifting today....watching this made me change my mind

  • BRB gone squatting......

  • Where is the 5:38 video of Kakiasvilis from?

    GREAT vids

  • @handsofstone21 that's just 13kg off the WR ! - the other one that got me was 858lb deadlift x 3 !

  • there is a guy at my church that can squat 800lbs

  • probably the best vids on youtube

  • man in each of these videos, which are pretty sick btw, theres always a couple nerdy lookin skinny guys with some crazy amount of weight bending barbells and reppin out w ease.. wtf!! hey cant judge a book by its cover haha

  • these compilations never fail to pump me up when i'm lacking some gym motivation. I just love watchin someone hit up a personal best, i know what it's like to work you ass off.

  • to take a heavy weight from the floor and put it over your head, is the hardest thing your body will ever do to you !

  • 6.30 polak ?

  • What's so great about these vids is that you can watch them a thousand times and still they will amaze you. Simply because looking at a 76 kg lifter squatting 280 kg then throwing the weight over head will always be damn fascinating. These videos never fail to get me into my "weightlifting mode". Thanks, Idan!

  • Good videos. Really really shitty music

  • the guy at 1:15 is not RAW, hes using elbow sleeves which are proven to increase your bench/incline press. raw is in a mother fucking T shirt.

  • animals

  • Bench guy: "405 RAW"

I thought raw meant no belts, wraps or suits.

  • @omgwatful

belts are allowed because they dont add strengh, just stabilisation

  • @Fr4nzmann

I kniow i can squat more with a belt than without. Same goes for deadlift.

  • @omgwatful in terms of bench, raw means without the aid of a bench shirt, meaning wrist wraps, belts, and elbow sleeves are permitted...in terms of squat and deadlift, raw means without the use of briefs and a squat or deadlift suit, which includes single ply, double ply, canvas, denim...etc...belts and knee wraps are permitted for raw lifting

  • Two people aren't very strong

  • There is nothing like lifting a great weight. Better than honeymoon sex.

  • this is fucking motivation i watch all these vids before working out hell yeah!

  • 3:50...Goddamn!

  • You should make a squat/front squat compilation

  • lol what would the spotter been able to do at 753 lmao gl

  • Come on guys where is Jerry Jones out of Minneapolis doing 800lbs?

  • 6:22 the best part ;]

  • that 203kg snatch was awesome

  • Lots of great lifts, not sure the 190 and 200kg squats were that special, but that 390 DL was great to watch, as well as the 200+ front squats

  • @ivorydeadlift i think they were impressive considering the sizes of the lifter. theyre squatting 3x their bodyweights for reps with perfect form

  • @jakebrigand Im not taking anything away from them, they had perfect form like you say. But the guy who did 200 looked to weigh about 90kg to me, easily

  • @ivorydeadlift well the 190 was done by a 56kg lifter about 2 days after the world championships

  • @chiefwr88 yeah actually that guy is kind of small, hadnt noticed first time round :)

  • The mother fucker at 6:22. God fucking damn.

  • Boevski is a BEAST.

  • @JacktheDaniels right!

  • Comment removed

  • olympic lifting, you can try any other weight sport, but it is THE weight sport. even power lifters who may be yes very strong do not have the speed or flexibility to come close to an oly lifter

  • Comment removed

  • I always find myself watching one of your vids before a big pump. Keep them coming

  • Beastly strength and power, all. Wicked compilation video. Very inspirational.

  • @TheTrueFortress this is inspiration makes me pumped before the gym!

  • can't wait til the 5th 1 comes out these vids are hell inspirational awesome creating them thanx very much xD

  • whos the little guy back squatting 280kg than throwing it over his head?

  • @010mikey Idalberto Aranda from Cuba. He was a 75kg (165lbs) lifter.

  • The best inspirational videos on utube. The right music and great lifts. Thanks for uploading them Idan273

  • "Reason" for dropping weights off back/front to floor after last rep is to convey suggestion the lifter is still imparting force to the bar. Attempt at exaggeration. Not needed because the weights and reps oh except the hiplock shallow ones are fairly great. Dimas did it in other video--drops weight off shoulders to convey idea of more strength when it's now gravity moving the load. Many strongmen have tried to suggest they're stronger than they are (falling weight to floor = "another rep").

  • @ArchAngelXIV

In the world of strength sports this is the pecking order:

Olympic Weightlifting > Powerlifting > Strongman > Recreational gardening > Bodybuilding

This is based on the fact that Olympic Weightlifters are pound for pound the most POWERFUL athletes (Rate of force production). And useless you say? NFL players and even UFC fighters use it just to name a few. And also, name me any sport in which functional, explosive strength is not important (which Olympic lifting trains)?

  • damn! I cant even lift a 100kg!

  • that baby at 1:00 was front squatting about 3 bodyweight wtf? Unheard of!

  • @endorphine99 he used to lift at 52kg, so that would make it a 4x bodyweight front squat

  • @endorphine99 That's Ivan Ivanov from Bulgaria. There's an IronMind video on YouTube showing him doing an 175 kg C&J.

  • impressionante lo squat frontale di quel nanetto :) roba mai vista prima!!

  • Awesome vids man. I love seeing a lot of the olympic lifters since a lot of the powerlifting videos have been seen already. I hope to see Konstantinov's newer stuff and maybe some Stan Efferding in the 5th video.

  • Comment removed

  • Olympic weight lifting aint real strenght and i dont know whats the point about that, you dont get any functional strenght from that or muscle growth ,,,, Strongman , Powerlifting are for mans BOdybuilding are for man,,, that like seeing others muscles wich is kinda gay but they are still STRONG people not those olympic lifters else you would see them in worlds strongest man competition !

  • @ArchAngelXIV You ignorant fool. You dont olympic lift cause you cant. Olympic lifts are the ultimate feat of strength. Id like to see any BBer or powerlifter lift 200+ kg from floor and put it over their head. Im not hating on BBers or Powerlifters as I compete locally in both but stop being such a fucking tool.

  • @popcornpimp007 Yes its impressive lifting that many weight overhead , but you ever saw olympic lifting in World's strongest man ? In real life you press thing over your head , PRESS not throw . For me a feat of strenght is more like in strongman events , truck pulling , Stone Carying , Atlas stones , farmer walks , car , log PRESS((not throw ;) )) Wich Im sure No Olympic lifter can and will ever be able to handle dont you think so ?

  • @ArchAngelXIV Yes I see your point. I supose they are completly different sports, Getting the weight above your head by anymeans possible combining speed, strength, technique and skill vs raw power.

  • @popcornpimp007 Well I do agree that Olympic weight lifting is mostly speed and technique plus the strenght and the endurance wich makes (Power) but theres mostly no strenght in that compared to strongman Or powerlifting (( But olympic lifters are no doubt way stronger than the normal Joe )) only I guess they could be lot stronger if doing deadlift powerlifting. But seeing olympic weight lifting its more like a sport than any other lifting but I do think it lacks brute strenght ^^

  • @ArchAngelXIV It's clear that you've never actually done any Olympic weightlifting.

  • @nova68nova Tried when I was younger , trough I was to young to use heavy weights , Still as I see that is like doing a deadlift with light weights+ a shoulder press with EXTREME momentum(and without the press) so I guess its not that hard as a actual real heavy weight deadlift or shoulder press

  • @ArchAngelXIV That's exactly right. You "guess" it's not that hard. I mean, I "guess" golf isn't really that hard either. I only played putt-putt when I was younger, but come on! I mean, the ball isn't even moving!

You see where this is going?

  • @nova68nova I do agree that its hard else anybody could do,, but can you tell their as strong as powerlifters and strongman , I say not a half ! The only difference is that olympic wl is to be spectacular and totally useless in life while strongman and powerlifting is USEFUL strenght .

  • @ArchAngelXIV i would say olimpic lifting is more useful than the powerlifting. olympic is so dynamic, so explosive. powerlifting is more static. and OL doing all the shit without that accesories

  • @LikeTherEsNoTommoroW Its true that powerlifting is static think about that muscles contract or not contract , so as long as they are involved in the movement everymuscle is strenghtened , + lets say you have to press something up the window in your basement like Idk your mother because house is in fire wich can be possible to happen to anybody will you try to push her up the window or will you clean and press her ?

  • @ArchAngelXIV dont u think shoulders of OL would destroy whole wall ?

  • @LikeTherEsNoTommoroW I would like to see a olympic weight lifter on his shoulders day if he can STRICT press big weights.

  • @ArchAngelXIV oly lifters press in workouts too. and why would there be a shoulder day? LOL do you even lift?

  • @kickdim Yes I do lift for a long time,, but actually I never saw a olympic weight lifter doing any shoulders press with more than 55's dumbells,, wich sucks ass even for a 5years old little girl , the guy I saw doing that at my jean,, clean and press 2 plates and a half each side trough... and doing 55's dumbells !!

  • @ArchAngelXIV If you look just on raw maximum strength you are probaby right, but this doesnt matter at all, because other than Powerlifting, Weightlifting is a "real Sport" where basic strenght is just a tool for success in their chosen discipline. Weightlifting depends mainliy on skill and explosive Power. You also cant say they have just explosive strength, because obviously you cant accelerate a weight you cant even deadlift.

  • @ArchAngelXIV About your pressing: It depends on the athlete and his individual style. Some weightlifters are pretty strong in pressing, some are weak because the use their legs more. Its normally standard to military press about 50% of your jerk for an triple, however, some do much more or less. Its true that the ideal jerk is basically coming from the leg power, while shoulders do mainliy the static hold.

  • @ArchAngelXIV Koklaev was a pretty good strongman brah.

  • 0:50 i can do too, even with more weight

  • guy at 6:25. Stupid strong. WOW.

  • @jrstrongman that's marcian dolega for ya

  • not sure i belong in there but thanks.

  • These are great videos. I've watched your compilation #2 so many times and it never ceases to inspire me.

  • Great videos,thanks

  • 7:00 fabulous
