this site suddenly popped up when i was on youtube and forced me to download a fake scanner with er download does any one know why?

@jie332211 I don't. But the next time one of these pop up, DON'T CLICK ON ANYTHING ON THE SITE. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del (open Task Manager), goto the Process tab, end the process: (iexplorer.exe if running Internet Explorer, firefox.exe if running FireFox, ALL chrome.exe processes if running Chrome). Then repoen your internet browser. If it prompts, DO NOT REPOPEN THE SESSION!

i had a virus like that on my old desktop and BEFORE it fully loaded i shut it down waited 10 mins came back no virus xD good way to stop it in its tracks...kinda xD

you're better off just killing the fake security popup(s) with task manager. some of those will install something no matter what you click

@blackandblue10 Srry for the late reply. My Dad told me the same thing, this was at the library so (and this is really stupid) task manager is restricted. That last pop-up window was fake.

Oh, my bad, I see this is only a website. There is a nasty virus out there that installs iteslft on computers as a fake antivirus. It is called "antivirus system pro" and it is a pain to get rid of.
