What exactly happened here? Did he plug it into the wrong plug type or did he simply electroshock it before hand? The video isn't to clear looking

Oh my oh my. Nothing was staged about this video. Actually, it was a private video I found on a companies servers that I was working on --- which means that nobody actually 'released' it, but me. This is real, for all you do-gooders out there.
