  • why dont they use the double decker cars on the north side???

  • @EMILCEPEDA2012 they do now

  • @jdgator95 how did you get that close

  • was this train actually operated, or tested? bc double decker cars are pretty much never used on the north side

  • @datkidceddy No it did not run up north...but BET is the maintenance facility for both the north and south side, so double decker cars end up there before returning south.

  • @jdgator95 i can tell by the solid purple line on the engine car it wasnt on the south side at all. they only use those cars on the north side. plus how do they ship the trains back and forth if the north station side doesnt connect to the south staation side?

  • @datkidceddy First of all I never said this was the South Side at all, I said it was BET, the maintenance facility for both "sides". If you read the title the engine is doing switching work, this train is not going into service, hence the fact that it's three cars long and there is no control car. They "ship" trains back and forth via a network of freight lines known as the Grand Junction.

  • @jdgator95 i never accused you of saying its the south side u said it was at BET returning south with all other double decker cars. I know it isnt going south just for the simple fact of the paint on the engine car

  • I said the double decker cars are returning South, which they are, not the locomotive. The locomotive is doing switching work and the double decker cars will be uncoupled and will return South after they've been paired up with the engine that is to run with them in service on the South side.

  • @jdgator95 ok i get it now. sorry if i misunderstood

  • @datkidceddy Thats ok

  • at part 58 that rail those rail cars had a harsh impact huh?

  • MBCR train is moving back & forth.

  • dude you are one lucky boy to be spending alot of money on train tickets!

  • Then he must be one of the "house engineers." They have two main duties - putting the trains together, and running them from BET to North Station. Also, they will sometimes be called to cover for road engineers who call in sick, take a day off...etc. On the North Side, there are a total of nine house engineers.

  • Well it certainly isn't public, and I just wanted to avoid confusion by saying I wasn't tresspassing

  • haha, I thought this was a copyright issue...:D

  • awesome very cool

  • thanks!

  • Dude this is incredible, how do you get to film in all these locations???

PS this video should be flagged as inappropriate. C'mon you can't post a video of two trains coupling together, thats when new trains are made xD

  • ROFL! ...and to go in to BET you just have to be with an employee or a tour group

  • @TNT314159 hahahahahahahahahahaahhaahaha you make me laugh like CRAZY HAHAH

  • Nice video! Its fun to see "behind the scenes" action. Do you know T employees or did you call or something to get permission to film there?

  • Thanks, I got let in by an employee I know, but I saw a group there getting a tour!

  • Cool! I wonder if it was an exclusive tour or if anyone can go on it.

  • I heard that if you have a group you can arrange a special tour with the management there, for example a school or a community group.

  • Did you get to look inside the engine servicing building? I want to see what that looks like.

  • Yes, the pictures will be up soon on my website

  • Cool I'll look for them.

  • Nice shot! Don't see one of the north side F40's with bilevels too often!

  • Thanks
