dude im from Texas Self service every where u still wait in line cuz you have morons that dont know how to use it... Ive been to jersey and tried to pump my own gas i was stopped and the attendant pumped it for me. I was so amazed by this.. I wish Houston had Full service gas stations...
I dont know how to pump gas. srsly . I actually think I would be pissed if i had to pump my own. I'll pay the extra $0.02 /per gallon to keep 25,000+ people employed
I live in Oregon, and I have pumped gas maybe once in my entire life. The only time I remember pumping my own gas was when visiting family in California. I was actually looking for a video on how to pump gas because I plan on traveling this summer, and I do not know how. It may sound easy to you, but so do chopsticks to someone raised in an Asian country. I do not know why it is this way, and when I think about it, it doesn't really make any sense, I just know it works.
Not only are the gas jockeys rude, but they hardly understand English. I asked one to put $20 in.. I look over and its going past $32, so I get out and ask him WTF!!! they dont listen, nor do they stand by your car. Another time, I asked them to fill it up, it clicked over at half tank, I told him it wasnt full, please fill it up... he pumps it until its full and then gets an attitude, "*click* is it full now? *click, click* is it full now? *click* is it full now? HUH?" FUCK NJ AND THEIR GAS!!!
@DThaeman I have never met a rude attendant; however, I have met many inconsiderate attendants. There can be like two cars in the station, and they will stand around smoking a cigarette or chatting on their cell phone. To further illustrate this point, I can count the number of times an attendant has offered to wash my windshield on one hand. Partial service is more like it. -_-
Although i live in a State now with self serve i was in Oregon for a while and found that i liked the full service better.I Can't stand when a self serve is just as busy as the picture you showed and people are standing in line in a convenience store or wondering around the store grocery shopping while they leave their car at the pump. Most full service stations either didn't have a convenience store or had a separate parking space people could pull into after they got gas to shop.
I have experience this oddity and can honestly say that I can not tolerate full service gas stations. If you don't know how to pump your own gas then you should kill yourself... seriously... NO. SERIOUSLY.
GO FUCK YOUR SELF!!!!
