I love to hear this trio sing, Joy Gardner just makes it so real - of course Guy & David make great music all around. I just am so happy that Gaither started his Homecoming recordings and film when he did. Look at this video to see all the Saints who have gone to Heaven.

This song this particular version is what keeps me connected to the faith I grew up on. It brings me to tears every time. I cant watch this or listen to it without truly experiencing the power of it. What a perfect trio. I never liked Phelps until I heard his voice on this song. Penrod was always my favorite and still is, but Phelps earned my respect. This is right before all the old timers started passing on. Its heartbreaking to see it. Oh beautiful Vestal I love you and miss you.

This song brings back many memories from long ago of my mother singing it. I will hear her sing it again one day soon. Thank God for the Gaither videos. They are so anointed. So many of these people are singing in heaven now and we will join them too!
