Actually Greedo indeed Shot First..!!! but you see the poblem is, is that Han Solo might be from a long, long time ago & a galaxy far, far away but he is actually Chuck Norris's brother from another mother...!!! and every one knows that a blaster can't kill Chuck Norris nor his can it kill his brother from another mother Han Solo. In fact what happend is Greedo shot at Han Solo & Han Solo roundhouse kicked the blaster bolt into Greedo & well you know the rest... p.s. Your Welcome!!

@twilightvampire3 Didn't you think it was pretty amazing that Han knew EXACTLY the trajectory the blast would take so he would only have to move his head a mere inch to avoid it and not be bothered by the heat or impact against the wall at all.

Lucas changed the whole feel of that scene because he's a BAD DIRECTOR.

Why is the a debate!? If you watch the very first original on VHS its obvious Han shot first. Lucas later added greedo's shot in the digitally remastered one.

@IMBAGO: "Han shot first" has become somewhat of a symbol and "peak infraction" for all of the dirty, rotten, no-good changes that have been made between the classic stars wars movies and their re-releases...and even in movie re-releases in general. More specifically, most long-time fans don't like the fact that they were trying to soften Han's character.

Well anyway, now we know the truth. Colbert got Greedo with a plastic lightsaber...

There is no question on who shot first, Greedo. When some one refers to the "Han Shot first" controversy it has nothing to do with the "who shot first", it refers to the changing of the scene in the re-cut to make Han act more in self-defense. Type in Han Shot first in the Wikipidia and read about it.
