Great video. Has Cody been fixed? My raccoon gets aggressive when he plays like this. I noticed that Alica rubbed her right leg and even raised her pants leg to look at the damage. I frequently get scratches on my arms and hands, but I know better and usually where jeans or sweats when we "play".
nice! after watching this video, i want to get a raccoon as a pet now. not the ones out in the wild though, which cause messes in your own home. where did you get that raccoon? was it orphaned as a baby, and then relocated to your home? i live in seattle, wa, and the raccoon's here can be pests if let in homes. my friend once had a raccoon problem with a mom and her baby raccoon's stuck in his attic, till critter control came and took care of it.
Except for maybe some very rare exceptions, every raccoon causes a mess in the household. Curiosity is their nature and it's usually impossible to train raccoons to obey commands. They do just what they like to do. Just have a look at watch?v=0DfGf4M3QZo
yes he was 8 mo. is that video. he turned 1 yr. may 1st 2008. He loves diving at us off the furniture. He has his own room. we also let him go outside in the front and climb
the trees, and play in the small pond there. he hasn't ever tried to run away; he knows where he's safe.
lucky you to have one i had one and really this reminds me of my experience with mine

That is so cool! I love raccoons - how old is he? He looks to be at least a year old, he doesn't really look "kit"-ish - :)
