because its muay thai doesn't mean that they dont need to learn a lill bit to box... in some muay thai fights is see they wanna give a jab or a hook but they cant do it... because in training they kick and knee much. i dont disrespect those fighters i respect everyfighter that trains hard but if they learn to box they would be much better
@gbcMontana Of course every thai learns how to box...At Kaewsamrit, Anuwat Kaewsamrit was known for his powerful fists and knocked a lot of people out using his fists. If the match was fought over 5 rounds, most of the time he lost on points
In Muay Thai you can score the most points by kicking, doesn't matter if the opponent block the kicks, you still score points!!!
@MuayKwon not only that. but you have to be more careful of other counters you can't keep throwing jabs or hooks can be countered easily by thai fighters. DOH DOH
@gbcMontana You see the same combos in this vid because there was only filmed for a couple of minutes...And of course you see a lot of kicks, that's why it's called Muay Thai...:-)
The prices on there website are currently 800 for a day and 400 for half a day. Thats for training only.
With airco room, it's 1200 for a day, but then it says 1000 for the month. I thought they might have forgot to place another 0 there, and it would origionally be 10 000 BAHT. which is around 200 EUR (360$?)
I have been out of shape for a while but plan on training there. I already have a flight on 1st of january until the 1st of september. i hope i will survive at Kaewsamrit though
First the prices were on the net but I think you just have to send them an e-mail! In march 2008, I paid around 850 baht per day I guess...! That was including a place to sleep, training and breakfast/dinner. I was there for 3 weeks but you can get more discount if you stay longer. If you are going there, you will have a great time! Have fun!
No, this vid was from march 2008. Anyway, if you want to train there it's a really great camp with a good atmosphere. Kaewsamrit has been rated Gym of the Year in Thailand in 2002 and also last year!

How much did it cost you to train there? I can't find much on the net about their prices.
