Thanks! I just opened my new XL 335 and have been browsing the manual and web site. Off all the things that could have stumped me (updating the map, route planning, etc.) the one that did was using and releasing the mount and getting the GPS off the mount. The TomTom manual just wasn't clear. But you video showed exactly how to do that and saved me a lot of stumbling around. Thanks for sharing your unboxing.

I have garmin one is really good too but most the time satellite is AWEFULLY BAD most people  spoke the same to me Y ? need more from techn any way is good to try maybe one day techn will find somethig better 40 % is dood...

hey, I before used a tomtom go, its really old, and as you drive, the driver icon and the whole interface moves really smooth. But this one, it doesn't, its not smooth and its not wat I expected. Its not alright, but the its doesn't move smooth. Its kind of lyke urs but mine is xl2. I updated it, I update it lke every week!! :(

I love the easy port.. but they are way to tight, you can here it creeking when your moving it, I loosened the two little screws on mine and its much better. felt like it was going to snap every time I used it.

@azgangster4life1 Well to update it anyway you have to download tomtom home from the tomtom website,and as far as i know if your device need's any sort of update added to the original map's that are on there,then Home will tell you,It's also a good idea to to subscribe to the Map Update service that get's refreshed every 3 month's,just in case road's have been closed or redirected,Hope this help ya out :)

my easy port mount is coming off my Tomtom when I pass on a speed bump. It is not realy what I was expecting.

@DWADE611 Sorry for not getting back sooner,As for charge while you use,well yes as far as i am aware yes you can charge the tomtom device while in use,cos ive done it myself :)

Nice unboxing. but one this is that i think is weird is that my tom-tom unit witch is the base model came with a usb cable to plug in to my computer so i can update it weird how it didn't come with yours but its a great device

cool a tom tom, but i don't have much need for a gps! hope that helps you getting around over the pond.
