it goes to show just how young them men really was that was there and fought and died in this war. like today there is so many kids going to war. that shouldnt even know what the word means yet. i shed tears everyday for the soldiers and their families. and to think that some people can call themselves christians and they go around protesting funerals. of soldiers over gays being in the military. them dead soliers cant do anything about politics.

there was a lot of under-age kids over there who was at pearl harbor and then fought this war. at 16 and 17 years of age. my father was at pearl harbor when he was 17 . then he was shipped to another ship but came down with the german measles and was left behind. his new ship was hit by two japanese torpedoes and sank off the coast of japan. then he ended up on indianapolis. and survived it being sank with shark attacks to. all at a young age to.

my great uncles fortunately did not live to see this movie ( May God Rest Their Souls). they passed away in the 1990s and died of natural causes from old age and lived a relatively prosperous and productive life AFTER world war 2. this portrayal is chop full of inaccuracies, distortions and lies that it is NOT funny!

this is a war film for girls in my opinion. Girls are generally incapable of understanding camraderie, exceptions always of course. But this film doesn't really focus on accuracy. The Japanese made a suprise attack on a love triangle!

We won the Battle of Britain because-instead of concerntrating on destroying the RAF (Like Hitler set out to do...) he tasked the Luftwaffe to bomb the cities-in retallitation for a bombing attack on German cities by the RAF. So the factories that built the fighters were able to replace losses,and the airfields that were damaged were able to be repaired. So that the RAF were able to resupply and fight back-outnumbered but not beaten!

Actually, if the U.S. hadn't bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki and stopped the Sino-Japanese War in China, there may have been even more casualties. More than the 10 million Chinese civilian casualties caused by the Japanese which is a lot more than the 200,000 that died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Not to say that the U.S. bombings were justified but if they weren't dropped, a lot more people may have died in World War 2
