@TheBluewaterII It seems to me that something capable of heavy lift but a bit smaller would be more practical. Less space needed to land, easier to work on, lower maintenance costs less expensive to replace. In times when as much as possible needs to be moved this would shine but more units of something a bit smaller would be better suited for more missions. An army will need to move 3 or 4 trucks far more often than they need to relocate the entire army. A smaller unit would be used more often

It never entered production. I'm guessing this beauty has powered rotors - would have loved to have seen one flying..... sigh!!!
