  • Thank you for sharing excelent technic of braking speed befor landing. Very nice and relaxing video. Alex.

  • I am someone that is tired of trying to have a conversation with an intellectual mollusk. And yeah, that's right PUNK-ASS FORIEGNER!!I don't have time for anymore of your rant,pole-stroker, unlike you I have a life. Why don't you continue on your quest to botch up every word you attempt to type. You might speak Greek&Italian and all that, but I wouldn't say you are quite up to speed on English yet. After spelling, you can work on punctuation, and after that you can pull your head out of your ass.

  • As for me,I know you're a moron and I have one more bit of inflammation for you;I have other things to do than reading some punk-ass foriegner give people a bunch of shit everytime he posts something.Enjoy your freedom of speech, but try not to be such an asshole,no one likes an asshole;take it from me

(the biggest asshole on planet earth!!!)I refuse to continue this battle of wits because my opponant is un-armed.

  • @larry23116 punk-ass foriegner??? what the fuck are you???

  • Just because you can speak 4 or 5 different languages doesn't mean no one will jab you on youtube for being a little BITCH like alot of the crybaby pilots I know. With people like you piloting planes ,I'll happily stay right here on the ground.Greek ,Italian,Albanian and Romanian huh?Are you really really greasey looking,or do you look like a bomb went off in your ass?

  • How To Land Your RCGlider!!!

And stop calling yourself pilots. You are not flying in the air but you are just holding a remote control. To me it is the same as sitting home and holding the tv remote. Wanna call yourself a pilot, go fly and get a pilot license.

I search for a glider and i have to watch this!!! Why!!!

  • @easygtr wait you half to ?? someone is holding a gun to your head saying WATCH THIS VIDEO !! u know there is a back button? maybe even another video somewhere u can click u look like an idiot now you know this? and im sure you know how to use a remote control go and fly one of these lets see how you do..

  • @M4sk3dC4sp3r I do fly one of this sometimes but i don't call myself a pilot because of that. And i do pretty good , not as good as the guy in this video but that's not the point of our debate is it.

  • @easygtr no its not the point the point is that u HAD to watch this video..

  • @easygtr dictionary . reference . com/browse/pilot

  • @easygtr rc pilots don't have 1st person perspective,so rc flying is actually harder than you might think;that is to assume that someone that comes across as such an ass would even bother to think. You may be a "real"pilot, but you are a jackass as well!!!Why don't you go suck a rail road spike or something??Moron

  • @larry23116 i do rc flying sometimes u stupid f@ck but sure its much easy when you are standing on the ground. try to get up there and than talk to me u stupid

  • @easygtr Learn how to spell first! And you called me a stupid f@ck,at least I can spell MORON!!

  • @larry23116 Ok i agree... I don't know much about spelling and sometimes i fuck up but i guess it is because i speak Greek, Italian, Albanian, Rumanian and English and i wasn't born and raised in usa or any other english talking countries. But thats not our point is it?

  • @easygtr Work on your spelling and alot fewer people will think you are a moron, that's for sure!

  • @larry23116 this is not about the spelling u stupid bitch. This ain't got nothing to do with the spelling same as rc gliders or planes have nothing to do with being a pilot. why do you point this in another direction and change the subject. by the way u retarded fuck, with the money you pay for those gliders you could get a pilot licence for a real glider. but i guess you don't have the balls for that do u. and yes now you can check my spelling again if u like

  • next time how about puting R/C in the title

  • lovely bit of piloting,nice one :)

  • That's not a glider but a stupid toy

  • @qHighFlyerp regardless if its full size or a model('toy')...it's still a glider.

  • @qHighFlyerp you are not an adult person but a stupid kid ;)

  • @qHighFlyerp Thank you

  • There must be a fair amount of ballast in that thing, to have that much energy!!! Very strong model, great stuff carbon fibre.

  • That's not landing? That's catching!! Ha!! I once tried this and snapped my glider in HALF!! Nice work!!

  • in theory the same would work in a real size model jst get a 50ft person to catch it

  • @speedygonzales1000cc Maybe the 50ft tall woman from that movie in the 1950's? lol

  • wootage!

  • Very good vibe.... Acclamations!

  • very nice catch and obviously on a white body prevents grass marks well done and a loveley final hs pass :))

  • LOL at the beginning it sounds like a jet XD

  • Amazing

  • Cool!

  • How many G's? 8?

  • Its really Jim Bourke in disguise....

  • So everyone who catches his rc sailplane is a good pilot ? Gosh I'm good...rofl don't try this at home Looooooool

  • I do that all the time, not. Nice flying!

  • Wow Paul. Some of us here in AUS that have not met you and only seen your videos were wondering about your skill level on the transmitter. Goes without saying you certainly know how to fly. Thanks for posting.

  • Why is the cameraman also holding a transmitter?seems a little suspect this vid.

  • thats a pole...

  • even sounds like a glider!

  • Dude awsome speed. She's built like a rock. Catching is part of it. i catch my glider and jet like that.

  • My jet is a 1/4 scale model, so i kinda have to land it, it also utilises two real model jet engines and is capable of over 300mph, but you loose it after about 5 seconds of flying in a straight line so i tend not to go that fast.

  • that was some fantastic flying...

  • Hey I think that's my old Ford Festiva in the background!!!

  • you can't spell either, you fucking moron.

  • Yes like you can hahaha ....

  • I didn't spell anything wrong. Now you REALLY look stupid. I have more than enough ammo to humiliate you, you dumb fuck, so press your luck.

  • Hahah like I`m afraid of you sissy hahaha!

  • Okay, now let's pick this one apart: your lack of proper puncuation bequeaths a missing education. If you went to college, you should get yor money back. Why do you keep coming back to be embarassed? You look like a complete fucking idiot to everyone here.

  • Haha learn how to spell words dude please ;)

  • unglaublich - fantastisch!!!!!!!!!!

  • Funny how P Naton NEVER posts!!

  • i catch my gliders all the time

  • I'm a powered flight guy, but that is amazingly fast, and i was surprised the wings didn't fold on that sharp pullout. Very cool. Nice landing btw.

  • Check out the cost of that bird. These sailplanes are not really "gliders." Its likely >$2000.00 AND will easily exceed 200 mph. BLACKBIRD

  • As a 737 pilot (laid off), full scale sailplane/glider pilot and avid RC glider, power and Heli pilot I appreciate your talent and the fact that you shared this with us. I'm glad i came across your video, for those of you upset about being mislead please refine your searches or better yet turn your laptops off , go outside and get some fresh air! Happy landings everyone!

  • the issue is not a need for street cred ("inherent dangers"? really?). its the misrepresentation.

It would be just as laughable to tag a video of you operating your RC model car as "how to drive a race car" in some sad, delusional hope that NASCAR fans will recognize you as a peer.

Its nice you enjoy your hobby but change the description to reflect reality and you won't get comments of frustration from people like me that did a search for soaring and end up being rick-rolled by your video.

  • As a sailplane pilot, I refuse this comment. Such F3B models are far harder to manage adequately than any competition fibreglass manned glider.

  • You are certainly entitled to your opinion about which activity is "harder" but you have proved my point when you differentiate that these are, in fact, two distinct and separate hobbies to compare.

The description in the tags and text misrepresent the content of the video. You are not "soaring" majestically above the earth, your feet are planted firmly on the ground while you operate a toy replica with a remote control. A six year old can tell the difference - please tell me you can.

  • They are two completely different hobbies, you're right. They're based on the same premise, non powered flight.

You're wrong about soaring. Soaring is defined as the act of gliding while maintaining altitude, or flying a heavier than air craft by using ascending air currents. It certainly did that.

Since these things are capable of over 300mph, I think they're welling outside the definition of toy.

Accept that both hobbies are incredibly impressive, and both have their inherent dangers.

  • :37 Pilot spooked by glider. Wonder if anyone has ever been speared by one of these things.

  • very nice. Thatthing smokes.

  • excellent. love the sound of the glider and the landing ofcourse.

  • how to 'catch' a glider!!

  • y'a maitrise !!!!

  • nice! gooooooood!

  • belo video parabens
