This fight was just a pure test of endurance. If you have no stamina then it's easy to get jump sliced by a skeleton and then get slashed to hell by giant skeletons. To make matters worse if Nito catches up to you then you're fucked if he uses that screaming wave attack while you have enough skeletons trying to kill you.

I'm just saying this if any of you haven't fought this boss yet. Manage that stamina carefully and think about what's around the corners of the room.

@Ch4rgeShot Nah, I did it too with the Black Knight Sword. The real problem is the fucking skeletons, ignore them and Nito is easy. But a VERY AWESOME easy boss.

This guy was the easiest boss fight in my opinion. Just make sure you have heal and 5 flasks along with a divine weapon.

Jumps into boss room, lost 50% hp then after that try to drink pot, but you cant because Nito starts spam tha freakin gravesword strike after you try to run and fight him you see 2 giant skeleton next to him = dead.

Best part was running always from bonfire to boss and kill all the enemys again and again..

Funny how it is harder actually getting to the fight than actually fighting the fight. I found this guy surprisingly easy because many of his attacks were slow and predictable: The only danger was when his scythe shoots up from the ground under you.

There is a somewhat deeper meaning to Nito then first meets the eye. "The first of the Dead" ? So we are fighting the first human being that ever died in this fictional world... He has been there from the very beginning. He thinks differently, for he observed every death in history as the "Gravelord". What must go through your head, knowing that you were the first dead human, no family or friends, witnessing the course of time for so long, and being immortal? A lonley and sad story...

Then again, Nito could also be a selfish being. He found the power of the flame and made himself into the "god" of the dead, wishing to rule over all undead beings forever. The music is really split into two themes. The calm, mysterious and somewhat sad parts... And the fast, harsh and threatening parts. Nito... A sad existence suffering from eternity or a selfish tyrant greedy for power? You decide...

I didn't know what to expect. I just swung my upgraded Gravelord Sword, hoping to hit something. Thanks to some aggression, heavy armor, and my experience in Demon's Souls, I returned this walking pile of bones back to his coffin.

I was probably just fortunate that time.

@firelegendmushroom I'm pretty sure the fall is always half health. I think fall damage scales to your total amount... I know dropping from the Princess; bonfire at 25 vitality did less damage than dropping at 35.

@RyuKaguya In NG+, you have to find the merchant that sits outside of Blighttown and buy it off him. After you open the gate to Blighttown he'll move to Firelink Shrine. Either way, he will sell you the armor as well as the armor of other bosses you beat.
