  • you never cease to amaze me!

  • WOW! How did I miss this video? It somehow didn't make it into my cue. I like it. I personally would have left it empty and top loaded it like a burn barrel. Tony's stuff worked really good.

  • @HawkLMT I had some experience with a fully empty drum. A couple issues were soggy ashes in the bottom, and the heat didn't work for cooking as well as I would like. Marshmallows and hot dogs, no problem. I guess it comes down to what one wishes to use it for. Great to hear from you. I have been visiting channels to see what I am missing. The email alert and 100 sub list is about useless.

  • its a giant rock tumbler

  • Another great idea from the USframe crew, thanks guys

  • Yeah pick up some more of those. From fire pits to containers for the garden they're a perfect size.

  • Outstanding ideas guys, keep-em coming.

  • Super, my friend, the best stove ; ))

  • Gerat Idea ...... Love the recycleing !!!!

  • I am amazed! By you guys and Tony.

  • That is a really ingenious idea, thanks for sharing it with all of us!

  • Excellent!

  • Sir, my wife is going to have words with you. You keep putting ideas into the empty space betwixt my ears. You see, with the proper modifications, that dryer drum fire pit can be made to also serve as a forge. Oh she's gonna be hating on you!

  • @docsimonson Yeah, that would work just fine. Wonder how it would be raised a bit and laying sideways. I see asll sorts of possibilities.

  • @usframe hmmmm, yes, elevated and on its side it could be encased on the top, back and sides with clay/earth, and you'd have a wonderful clay oven.

  • @drzmanproject now, you are surely onto something with that!

  • That is pretty cool! I may sabotage my wife's dryer to get the tub. OMG, where will I get my dryer lint :)

    Thanks guys!

  • @ArtisanTony gotta love one spark lighting :) I did not check as yet, but there are several appliance shops in the county that sell used units. And I am guessing they have lots of dryers pass through that do not get repaired. I need more of these, and that's a fact!

  • very cool, sent the video to my son in law. He likes outdoor fires at night. Grand kids like roasting marshmallows.Best use for a old dryer drum I ever seen.

  • @thawkins426 great! no worries of burning through, easy to close off at the end of the night. Has worked extremely well for us.

  • Cool, it getting to be fire season down here

  • @GunWebsites do you experience winter?

  • @usframe

yup, well, you might call it fall.. but it can snow here once or twice a year.. sometimes

  • is the drum coated in anything toxic that will burn off and get into everything? I would think not but it's a good thought haha

  • @punkboy198 no coating, no odors, great for this assignment

  • @punkboy198 Even the older ones that are enamel coated steel are good.
