In these years , from 14th century till 19th century when the ottoman empire ruled , there was a lot of "moving". So , when the ottomans were beaten and had to leave Kosovo and the other parts that r even today in Serbia , the Albanians were the large majority in these territories again.

So the Serbs annected Kosovo and managed to bring many Serbs from Serbia so that the Serbs were the slightly majority again.
And so till 1999 it was a part of Serbia.

In these years , from 14th century till 19th century when the ottoman empire ruled , there was a lot of "moving". So , when the ottomans were beaten and had to leave Kosovo and the other parts that r even today in Serbia , the Albanians were the large majority in these territories again.

I d support every nation in their indenpendence activites but only if they havent got a land. But people of Kosovo are Albanians and Albanians have an own land. So now exists two Albanian states. In Germany lives many Turks you know, do you think that would be correct if they establish their own state in Germany?

First : Kosovo was Albanian/Illyrian till the 12th century. Then the Serbs managed to control more and more of the Balkans till they got even to todays south Albania for a short time. But Kosovo was controled by the Serbs till the Turks came, in the 14th century.
And in Kosovo Polje not only Serbs faught, there were almost all Balkan nations among them. But the Serbs led the army cuz the fight was on their territory.

well many albanians may think that kosovo is independent but the province is just going to become one of those balkan countries that thinks its free, when its really not. there is nothing free about kosovo. it is not a democracy( face it it really isnt) it has no economy, it is corrupted and its only means of support are funds from the EU, that can only go on for so long. as the poorest country in europe, albania wont be able to help them either....so sorry but kosovo is not "free"

Our economy has the capacity to be more developed than some other on the region ...internally there is nothing that stops kosova becoming successful but we do anticipate tensions from the hawks and the wolfs that surround us:)

that is a good goal to keep in mind..but the current reality and situation are proving otherwise..the internal issues have to be handled first( corruption, drugs, prostitution, human trafficing) before it can move on, although some powers did recognize it, i doubt that they will offer much help as they are struggling as well. As for the region, i doubt that any of you (serbs,albanians, greeks etc,,)are wolves, i just think the leaders are stubborn and are unwilling to cooperate with each other.

When we handle with thematics about Balkan history, we only work with history and not politology and coincidentally we can't find connection beetwen old Illyrians and todays Albanians. The connection exists only if we take modern politics into the themtic.

In the Caucasus there was state called Albania. Is that the proof of Caucasian root of Albanians? Don't forget that 'alb' is the root-word of latina word white. So there were a lot of different tribes, towns/villages, rivers, mountains with wort-part alb. If we would start with root-word 'serb/sorb/sirb/srb' than there is possibily to build thesis that the roots of Indoeuropeans are in Serbians.
Short and clear: Albanians have nothing with Illyrians to do, because 1. naming is ~13. century.
