@chuckylynchmob Shut up dumbass they sound good both ways 8 & 6 u just gotta have the right tubing & headers. This guy does not. Idk why people install split tail pipes it looks retarded. It's lifted 2 1/2 inches too high, that thing will roll easy with 33s. mines at 4.5" with 33s n it's at the limit I would say.
ha made them out of the old exhaust with a pipe bender and welded them on, i like the look under the truck specially when its lifted rather than out the back
sounds pretty damn good once you get it up there. would it sound any different if it was just a single straight pipe? cuz im thinking about doing this to mine.. but adding in a magnaflow high flow cat too. hehe =]
Oh and take a listen to mine... you can hear it in the knocking video. All I currently have on there is just an Original 40 series flowmaster that I bought off CL for $30. Just cut the stock one out and welded it up. Sounds badass.. and only cost me 30 bucks!! listen from 1:05 on.
yea the high flo cat would make it louder and faster for sure ide stick with the flow master, theyve sounded the best by far that i have ever herd, if you strait pipe it its gona slound slopy, i did that whole exhaust for free. its wont sound to much different with a single out pipe..
hell yea i was wantin to put a banks header on mine they sound mean. thats a good idea though, i had about a foot of 3" tubing between te cat and the muffler it made it have a deep sound
thats sick! i might just do that on mine once its running again.. thanks for the idea!!
ill just take everything off from the cat back.
thinking of this:
magnaflow high flow cat possible 3" in and outlet, 3" pipe to the flowmaster original 40 series, 3" tailpipe dumped before the rear axle (only about 10-12inches of pipe..pretty much an exhaust tip for the muffler haha)
gotta get the engine up and running first, then an axle seal leak fixed, snorkel, possible tires, THEN i can blow money on exhaust. but ill get a vid up asap. Ill get a high flow soon though cuz my cat is acting suspect. Ill put the high flow on, dump the tailpipe at the rear axle, and post a vid of it
it aint much louder without it just sounds sloppy, the camera has shitty sound quality. must here it in person to appreciate sounds almost like a damn v8 through 4000rpms

Yeah I meant single straight pipe out..my bad!!
This is how I want it set up:
Magnaflow high flow cat into my flowmaster original 40 series into a possible 3" pipe (for deeper, more aggressive sound)
The pipe would be no longer than a foot... dumped at the rear axle.
Eventually I might get a good set of headers..that'll really give it aggression.

nice but dont put it underneath the truck you can hear too much of the engines whining noise rather than the exhaust.
