Dude I really need some help, I have ArcSoft MediaConverter 4 Platinum and the Microsoft XBOX 360 settings output format is MP4 not WMV and so is everything else. Theres only a couple that output to WMV but they loose audio. Can you help me?

I need help, I recorded a gameplay on wednesday and I used ArcSoft to convert it and it worked fine, I used microsoft Xbox 360 as you said and I had audio on my windows media player and it opened on Windows movie maker. Today I recorded one and converted it using ArcSoft with the Xbox 360 settings and I've got no audio with it and for some reason it won't open in Windows movie maker becuause Window movie maker doesn't support it's file type. What's going on?

idk if you can help but i have a problem with my t.v. i have connected my pvr and everything is working fine, but my screen turns slightly purple and changes the colour of the images on screen. ive tried putting the hdmi down to 720p and notying works pealse get back to me ;) also when i look at the recoring on the computer is the rught colirs and its different on my tv.

NEED HELP ASAP!! right i have a hd pvr, i have the component cables from ps3 to hd pvr and also the component cabels from pvr to tv but my tv doesnt have the green blue and red inputs only has red,yellow and white and it plays in black and white on tv and in colour on recording but still bad quality is there any way of fixing this with out buying a hole new tv??????

hey i have just got a hdpvr i have set it up like you said but my screen is experiencing from a colour defect with purple outlines around the sub menu options and the writing. i have tried setting the screen on all the resolutions but it doesnt seem to be working can you help?

How many times can you use the CD to install the software onto your PC e.g I would like to install the software onto both my laptop and desktop PC is this possible or is there only 1 install aloud? (most CD's have 3 installs on them but just thought I would check)

@xFLiPZzLeAdeR I don't know about the buzzing sound, but for the picture colour you can try to change the display settings to 720p max instead of 1080i as this can cause problems on some tv's

@CivuHD are you swapping the display from HDMI? Because of you are you also need to change your tv channel to the component channel when you change the settings. If this is not your problem then I'm sorry but I don't know another way to resolve this issue.

@CivuHD holy shit dude i had that problem just then for about an hour, i kept restarting my hd-pvr and justa s i was at breaking point i watched the first part of this video then 30 secs of this one, then i turned on my hauppauge, waited for the flash then turned on my ps3 and bam! it just worked.. hope that works for you (also the channel is component)

ok i found a new issue when i play the gameplay i recorded in the formate the pvr does it in i get game sounds when i convert it i lose game sounds and my  media converter i got with the same pvr as you is diferent which is anoying its stil lthe same just a diferent version and i cant find the options u said use i got it set up as xbox 360 but its doing it in mp4 format and with no sound :(

Having some problems with converting my M2TS files to WMV. Followed all of your instructions upto 6.31 and everything is working perfect, so thanks alot! :D However, when i click 'Start' it says that it failed to convert because 'The file format is not supported'. @IMSPLASHH I know whats wrong mate. 1st: ONLY have your component caple plugged in, not your HDMI caple. Turn off your ps3 and your HDPVR. After that you tun on your HDPVR again. After THAT you hold down your ps3 "turn on" buttom until it "bibs" 2 times. After that it will find the component caple chanel, and you just need to swap to the component caple chanel on your tv. :3 Good luck

@ilinnuc That is a composite input and will only output SD, if you are planning on doing this I suggest you buy a dazzle as it is cheaper for SD recording. As for why it is there it can be used to record footage off hardware that does not have a component output, personally I have used it to transfer VHS to my computer.

@Manutd4e It is the software on the computer which records the gameplay not the hdpvr itself, so yes it does need to be connected for it to work
