Taiwan is clearly already in the bag. It is better that reunification is delayed for sometime to come.
The mainland has and will have more complete control over the Taiwan economy. Taiwan is very vulnerable to the threat and perhaps the actuality of attrition.
The Taiwan economy will or will contiunue to wilt if an arrangement that reassures the business community of its viablity is not reached.

"Xinjianger" is not an ethnic group - the primary group is called "Uyghur."
Next, geostrategic location is not a sufficient reason for occupation. The UN charter calls for self rule - something clearly absent in the case of Tibet. Tibetans deserve to govern themselves!

With that many people struggling to be free, many of the regions within the country that want independence will probably get it. Tibet will get it's freedom like Georgia or one of the other former Soviet Bloc countries over time.

You have used a very bad example. Georgia invaded that region and there are genocide charges against them. The idiot US trained president sent off 10% of its soldiers to iraq to please the US/west the best he could, only to find out he could not get any help this time. LOL. what an asslicker!!. He possibly waged a war to deflect the internal dissatisfaction from its ppl. Now it has been crushed by the big bro Russia next to them.

Nit picky. The point is they have their own country, regardless of its issues, like Tibet might have one day.
