@JigsawKiller1994 Thanks for watching! I loved the last Saw movie... What a way to end a series. I just don't understand why so many Saw fans are hating the final chapter.
i just watched cujo and my mom laughed so hard at me cus i kept screaming and i like almost started crying cause i thought the lil kid was gunna die and he was my favorite person.
love the selection..it covers basically everyting horror sub-genre. my question is how many of these do you own..i know as i watched i was like oh i have that
I own all except, sadly, The Town that Dreaded Sundown. That's an old favorite of mine and I can't find it anywhere except on bookleg. =/ Out of the movies selected what are some of your faves? I'm doing a second video for Halloween 2010 and there are some great chillers I'm including in the upcoming list.
well i love anything romero and anything by wes craven also(major influence of mine) also love all of the evil dead movies and loved that you included canibal holocaust. that is a hugely overlooked movie. people cant get past the animal stuff and miss how well shot that movie is, especially for its time. also gotta love fulci and argento they are responsible for some of the best films out there..i could keep this going for hours...litterally just wrote a pages worth in my notebook
LOL Canibal Holocaust is a very tedious film. I doubt I could actually film animals dying, but what really impressed me with this movie is the director actually had real canibal tribes work with him in creating this horror/adventure masterpiece. I heard rumors that it was going to be remade, but I doubt it. Argento is probably my Italian favorite. I'm kinda bummed they're remaking Susperia but I'll watch it anyway.
yea the whole remake trend in Hollywood really sucks..i can understand if a director wants to remake his own movie because he has more creative freedom now but other than that most of the remakes just suck. i agree i couldnt film animals dying either, but it was to show how savage they were, and those animals would have been killed to feed the villagers anyway. not trying to say we should all go do it but to those villagers its just like us killing a cow.
Some were good picks, but I saw a lot splatterpunk garbage in there as well (I guess it is known as torture porn now a days), that has no business being in the same video with classics such as The Thing.
Thanks for watching. I'm working on another list. Some of the titles on the upcoming list have some older classics on it. As far as the torture porn is concerned some of the films such as Hostel and Saw do grab me because they're unique and push the envelope, however, that doesn't mean I'm not up for a good classics like Psycho, the original Haunting, or even the G rated Legend of Boggy Creek. I think it just depends on what specific scare is for you. What are some of your favorites?

CLOVERFIELD?

@josiahmorgan11 Yep, Cloverfield. Don't worry, the selection is made off of my own personal preference, its not picked by a statistic standpoint.

@josiahmorgan11 BTW, Cat's Eye was good. I'll add it next year. Thanks for reminding me.

I understand the point your making. Although the animal death made my toes curl, I looked at it no differently than a documentary.
