  • man nice scope i like the crosshairs inside

  • how much did that cost

  • av u got that in wales or do u live over seas?

  • nice gun

  • scope is setup way to high

  • are u not too old to own guns?

  • Congrats on the rifle.Have the action pillar bedded, change the factory barrel to a free floated heavy varmit contour Lilja barrel. Lap the bolt lugs. blue print the action, lower your glass. All this can be done if you have access to a lathe and mill. You can do it yourself. Best of shooting and keep us posted.

  • ok i love that gun but camo is gay. get the black synthetic, it looks way better, and your a fuckin fatass

  • Looks like Remington SPS camo stock varmint rifle. nothing special. Did you use 20moa bases to help for long range? Also you should use lower scope bases to help with the ballistics. Did you free float the barrel? The standard stock has 2 pressure points in the foreend because the stock is plactic. I did mine up and it shoots 5 in a dine at a hundred yards.

  • did you get a opportunity to free float the barrel? Dramatic difference, from 1moa @ 100yrds to .25moa @ 100yrds. Consistent too!

  • which model Harris bipod is that?

  • @pbstarkiller HBBR-S 6 to 9"

  • this fine rifle is just one tool of many choices for snipers for the different gov agentcys out there. food for thought firearms don't kill man does and this is just one of many tools gov built to kill

  • @tomgurltom check out the new Ultimate rifle build i have just completed

Blackhawk knox axium stock, zeiss scope harris bipod remington 700 short action reviever match grade barrel BDL (takes magazine etc )

  • @tomgurltom No, no no, the saying goes. Guns don't kill people, fathers with pretty daughters do.

  • Mighty Fine mate,Mighty Fine.

  • @marlin187 marlin check out the new rifle build

  • Have you shot any of the savage law enforcement models? I am stuck between the the 700 XCR compact model and the savage 10 FCP HS Precision.

  • @jellybeaner18 no sorry

  • Hey I love this rifle, so i searched for it, stumbled across this video, heard your accent and instantly recognised it. Im from Blackwood myself, although I'm sure I can make the exception of talking to a Pont' boy this one time.

  • @bodbag Hey bud wow small world, i originally came from cwmfelinfach but have lived in the united states for a few years now. Thanks for watching, check out the new sniper rifle build

  • Do you have a winchester model 70? If so which do you think is a better gun? Rem.700 or winchester 70?

  • @Gamovarminthunter1 remington 700 all day

  • OK, to all the guys out there, explain to me please as ur observation of a sniper rifle? A sniper is one that cant be seen, and a rifle is a gun that cant be seen, so wheather at short quarters or long range, any rifle can be a sniper rifle, they just perk loads, equipment and the trained person that is firing it! Lets not get the STERIO type of the word (SNIPER) confused!

  • @MrDan747 - The word Sniper came from the Bird, Snipe. Camouflage may enable snipe to remain undetected by hunters in marshland. If the snipe flies, hunters have difficulty estimating a correct aiming lead for the bird's erratic flight pattern. The difficulties involved in hunting snipe gave rise to the term “sniper,” referring to a skilled anti-personnel military sharpshooter. My term for sniper rifle is, A rifle that can reach longer distances more accurately than standard fire arm.

  • i thought snipers were supposed to be fit? :P haha jokes man, nice rifle

  • @DonovanRoberts69 lol thanks

  • I dont think thats a sniper rifle.

  • @headphones222 well if you think that a 1000 yards does not qualify your as stupid as i thought

  • A .308 will stay super sonic at 1000yds with 178gr at minimum, but accuracy comes form the rifle, and I do not believe that rifle will achieve any where near what purpose build rifle will achieve. Yes the 700 is the action used in the M24, but just because you own a 700 doesant make that rifle a sniper rifle, the M24 is completely different.

  • @GT03235 A rifle is just a rifle, it's the person who is designated as the sniper.

  • @soulcapacitor not correct if you have a rifle which is not capable of small moa's then the best guy in the world cannot make that rifle accurate every shot

  • @GT03235 Of course a rifle capable of sub moa's is required. just because a rifle can generate sub moa's doesn't make it a "sniper" rifle. It may be a precision instrument or a long range rifle but you have to earn the title sniper.

  • GTO3235 - it means if you shoot a tree with enough .308's in time there will be a clear path

  • I have a very similar set up (apart from the camo stock). Do you know how to adjust the trigger?

  • sweet .308 man have you had a chance to shoot it at long ranges yet ?

  • 250 yrds is the max so far

  • cool ru gona end up shooting further

  • as soon as i clear enough trees on the new property yes

  • @GT03235 if you shoot enough rounds the trees will get the idea and clear a path for you

  • Nice sniper rifle :)

  • it sure is

  • it must be nice for you to make a comment and be answered by myself not a sister lol

  • @GT03235 Very much so!

  • @GT03235 or a person born male pretending to be a lioness

  • @SmokeRises wtf does that mean?

  • very nice rifle......SWEET..!!!!

i'm a total novice ,when it comes to rifles..but i thought the remington 700 was in .270 caliber...?

    not being a smart-ass....thats what i thought..

    i learn something new everyday....

    5stars, on the vid..!!!

  • The 700 comes in a multitude of calibers from .17HMR to .458 wm

and there are a few types for the public and police and military versions

  • @GT03235 .....thanks man.......appreciate the quick reply....

i got some homework to do on rifles...looks like

  • well so have i my love has switched from pistols to rifles. I want a .338 lapua or maybe a .50 cal. i want to go long distance

  • The complete package owes me around $850 and its worth every penny. The trigger from the factory is super sweet it just is a very accurate rig. Next will be reloading the .308 as i have not got dies yet. The 700 is the same as the military m24 i believe?

  • i can vouch for that,

That's a VTR Right? I have the same one but .223, and a Bushmaster scope instead.

The M24 has some like cheek, whatever adjustor and what not. Has a different twist than the stock .308 i think, and it has a Magazine instead of the drop in.

    good gun. 5 stars.

  • Bushnell lol not Bushmasters.

  • i knew what you meant my friend

  • One word... BAD@SS! How much did it run with the scope? 5 stars.

  • Interesting. I think I've seen that scope before, though it didn't seem sturdy enough at the time to work with a centerfire rifle. It'd be interesting to see how that works, seems like it'd be the weakest link on there, though. And I can't find anything about that scope online at all.

  • I have shot over 50 rnds through this rifle as of yesterday and as of now its still holding all the settings i made once zeroed in.

  • Ah, that's good. I've just grown critical of scopes as I got suckered into buying two of the SWFA SS series of scopes, took one out in winter on a Savage 10 in .223 and the windage knob just stopped working, second one fogged up on me after a a humid day shooting it. The reticule looks a little cheesy, but hey, if it works, it works!

  • cool rifle

  • Thankyou. You have much cool stuff yourself also my friend

  • If you are going to change your trigger I suggest a Jewell trigger. I put one in my 700LTR. I love it! It is easy to install and adjust. I have it set @ 1lb, 14.5 oz. How do you like the built in Muzzle brake and if I am not mistaken factory porting? One more question, Does it come with a palm swell?

  • The standard trigger is adjustable to a lower setting. There is no muzzle brake or porting tho!

  • wow thats nice almost nice enought to cakk it ur best gun or sleep with it at night lol just messen every nice

  • curtis believe this or not i treat all my firearms with lots of love and care. They are cleaned and oiled regular, omg that sounded sexual lol. Thanks for your comment

  • lmao ya that did sound kinda loven but forsure thats the best way to have it take care of them an when u need them there ready 4 u

  • slowly but surely my friend

  • Wow! You need to do some shopping for me.Can't wait to see it in action take care.

  • That's a beautiful set up. If you don't mind me asking what did that scope cost? My 700 is very accurate at 100 meters. That's the max at the range where I shoot. Thanks for sharing 5*s.

  • Bill its a $250 scope but i got it spanking new for $110

  • nice weapon
