@mwelu2010 they remind us of what Christ went through for us and even though physical pain was too agonizing...spiritual pain was even more painful than physical and could never be compared with physical pain for in His Spirit He carried the sins of the whole world.in His Spirit He experienced seperation from the Father When He died and He never gave up on us but He thought of you and me.He was wounded for our transgressoin(isaiah53) and its by His grace and not our own works.God bless you all.
