God Hank, I feel so sorry for you. Recently I've developed this mystery illness which is sore and annoying and I DISLIKE IT VERY MUCH! But it's obviously no comparison to your illness because of two reasons:

(1) You could die and I probably won't.

(2) I live in the UK and you live in the US.

The healthcare system where you are needs to be fixed. It's ridiculous. In reference to John's video, the "kill the pig" option would be so so much easier. "Kill the pig", kill the problem.

@goldeneye007662 Lortab is definitely not the same thing as loratadine (which shouldn't be capitalized because it is a generic name). Lortab is hydrocodone + acetaminophen. Loratadine is an antihistamine and has no shared properties with hydrocodone or any pain killer. Lortab and Vicodin are the exact same medication (just different brand names). So it's not that Lortab + acetaminophen = Vicoden, it's that hydrocodone + acetaminophen = Vicodin = Lortab

Hank, I'm just watching this for the first time. I take Asacol too. But I live in Canada. When I drop one of those pills, I don't think anything of it. I didn't even know how much they cost until now because I never needed to.

Apparently a fill for me is $430, or $0.60/pill (I take 8 a day, so that's 3 mos). That's $1720.00/year, of which I only pay $100 (my current deductible). Essentially I get almost 3000 pills for the same price you pay for about 70. A week for you is a year for me...

You have a sulfa allergy now, and it is anaphylactic don't take any Bactrim or anything with the prefix: sulfa (sulfamethoxazole, sulfadiazine, sulfacetamide, and any other sulfonamide) as well as let your pharmacy know because there are tons of drugs derived from sulfonamides that don't have the prefix sulfa
