Maximus is actually a real horse. He's a 15.2 Tennessee Walker from Califoria. His owner is Lloid Cooper, who owns Pony Theater, a company of amazing trick horses, bulls dogs, etc. If you type in "Slick lloid cooper" the first video should be the right one, of Lloid and his animals. Sterling is the horse that played Maximus(Animators came to barn for 7 months to film Sterling), and is the only grey horse in the video I believe. I <3 Sterling. So fun to ride

@LovePandaPony Oh, and he actually DOES everything seen in the movie. He responds to physical and verbal cues, like "Gimme a hug"(He'll walk up to you and wrap his neck around you like seen at 0:10 ), "Say Yes/No" (He'll shake his head as fast or as slow as you ask for with your hand, as seen at 0:05 ). He'll sit down, kick the ground like a dog, lay down, punch(lol you have to be out of the way), fist pump, etc.
