Assassins Creed 2-Revelations are all very emotional games all based on Ezio's, the main charecter, drive to finish his fathers work you was killed along with his brothers. In Revelations he those and finds the remains of the first game's hero, Altair. He learns the secrets of the creed and finally gets the message to Desmond, the overall protaganist.

If someone listens to this song and is still able to think that video games are just mindless and soulless, that person is without either emotion or logic. i think its BS that Capcom shut down clover studios. Japan actually, they did have their own mythology after all.

The myth goes that she and her siblings were born while the ancient god Izanagi was purifying himself after a trip into Yomi (the underworld).

Amaterasu (goddess of the sun) came from his left eye, Tsukuyomi (god of the moon) came from his right eye, and Susanoo (god of the storm) came from his nose.

Wakka and Ammy made this song as a lament of them leaving this world to the Celestial Plain and as a goodbye to all the friends that Ammy made along the way, all the people she helped out, all the people she inspired, and finally the people she saved. The song is bittersweet in the sense that it's sad that she's leaving but it's happy that she will repair the Celestial Plain.

as I think about it, I believe this music (and all of okami) has three meanings, depending on your point of view:

the people's point of view - the meaning is that you need to believe in the things you think important and help the people that helped you.

issun's point of view - the meaning is not to run away, and face your destiny for those who care about you.

amaterasu's point of view - the meaning is that there is alway's light at the end, and that there are always people who care about you.
