  • After I played Sakura Wars So Long My Love, I've wanted to play this game badly. Too bad it'll never make it to North America.

  • @HoneyDewMeIon I wouldn't be so sure about that. I mean, Sakura Wars: SLML made it to the States...eventually. Who's to say future installments in the series aren't possible? Personally I'm hoping for a sequel to SLML sometime in the future. Maybe I should run that idea past the folks at Sega, since (to the best of my knowledge, anyway) they're the ones who brought SLML to the States in the first place.

  • @Metroidguy94 True, a sequel would be awesome. In regards to this game though, there's pretty much a 0% chance of Sega/NIS America (company that translated and distributed SLML) bringing it to the states. Apparently because A. Sakura wars SLML didn't sell well in the US.. at all. B. SCEA looks down on all the Sakura wars titles as not being "real games". C. Sakura Wars V Episode 0 did VERY poorly in Japan; a low budget game, a horrible spinoff, overall got horrible ratings, etc. Sucks. :(

  • @HoneyDewMeIon Well, okay, maybe not a sequel, but perhaps one of the other Sakura Wars games could come to the States at some point? I mean, I have been curious about the other fighting troupes...there's one in Japan and one in Europe, right?

  • @Metroidguy94 Yep.

  • @Metroidguy94 Also, entering the passwords will let you obtain bromides of these 13 girls in Tokyo and Paris from Kayama's shop Romando in the game. If you have PS2 that plays Japanese games you can still get ST3 pretty easily. A remake of the first game is also on PS2. If you have a PSP you can get Sakura Taisen 1&2 (both are Saturn ports) or Dramatic Dungeon for DS, both of which are region free.

  • @Metroidguy94 oddly enough, pretty much all thhe anime and manga spinoffs have been licensed and released in north america, though, so you can at least read and watch the other series.

  • Just out of curiosity is this on the Japanese ps2 or an emulator?

  • @MrShootinputin Japanese PS2.

  • @Snatcher2047 Thank you. Let me ask you this how did you get the Japanese PS2 to work in am American plug and voltage? Is there a transformer with plug adapters you can buy?

  • @MrShootinputin I don't know how all Japanese PS2s are, but mine is exactly the same with all the cables as the U.S. version. I don't believe there is a difference between U.S. and Japanese electrical devices. Don't quote me on that, though.

  • @Snatcher2047 Thank you. I know the plugs are type A but Japan has different voltage and frequency than America. I know Japan is 100V and 50Hz and America is 120V and 60hz.

  • @Snatcher2047 Well don't worry I got this game to work on my PS2 emulator.

  • Ow I'd really like to play this game, it would be great if they relase is in U.S and Europe

  • have you got the full version of the song ?

  • arf, we want this game in europe too :(

  • Rhis looks really good,

  • 6 years old this game now, was pretty cool back when I bought it but never localised like 99% of sakur taisen games

  • Kind of makes me think of Sakura Wars meets Trigun in the Wild West.

  • I know this one is more like an action RPG, but are there still a lot of dating sim features in the game?

  • @shenmuemasta Not really. There are still the "answer the question to gain/lose points" LIPS situation, but I really don't know what they accomplish in this game.

  • @Snatcher2047

Cool, in that case I'll probably import sooner or later.

  • @Snatcher2047 They actually increase or decrease the girls stats and how well they do in battle. Have you ever notice that the girl you have a strong contection for does more damage during the course of the game.

  • So is Episode 0 sort of a side-quest/side-story/other for Sakura Wars V? Also is it something separate you have to pay for or does it come with SWV?

  • It's a completely seperate game / prequel to SWV.

  • But does it come as part of Sakura Wars V/So Long, My Love - or do you have to buy it on its own?

  • It doesn't appear that it will receive a U.S. release, so to answer your question, no it doesn't come with SWV. It also has to bought serperately in Japan as well.

  • Sad face :(

  • @roymaster45

they have a english version of this game on nintendo wii.

  • @mayumiaerheart Yes, they do have ST5 itself, and I'm probably gonna get that. But it would have been cool if they brought Episode 0 to the States :(

  • Cowgirl who use samurai sword .........

Dann !!! When will sakurataisen 7 come out ....

  • hmm....this strangely feels more like Wild Arms than Sakura Taisen because of the western setting

  • Toynjoy i think

  • i want this game =[

  • amazing!

  • she is from america

  • I love this song. It sounds so epic and full of the promise of adventure.

  • Yeah, it's a shame of full length version of this song done in this style was never produced. I prefer this version over the end credits version.

  • where can i find the 1st episodie?

  • I bought some videos at 1/2 price books.

  • I almost buy this game

when i just saw on the
