A fine series of clips here Ryan. It's nice to be able to really relate to a trip having seen it myself. This video brings back all the memories of a fine weekends filming and ps. Thanks for the cameo role at the start.
The run down to Plymouth from Bristol was enjoyable, unfortunately, being in the 14th coach at the rear on the return journey, I suffered a painful eye infection while trying to get some external video/photo's of the engines on the curves & along the coast near Dawlish. I'm sure they were doing around 80mph most of the way back to Bristol. We left Plymouth at 5pm & arrived Bristol Temple Meads at 8pm, 15mins early!
@NwsNoaaChaser I personally wouldn't say its the best, but I did my best that was all. Its just due to knowledge and research that has made these locations a top priority to getting a run like this, hence why I should be pleased.
@robmasterman Ahh ha yes I can see how much you'd be so willing to get this run if had it been running in your area. But nah I was really impressed of how well its come out despite a unusaul loco combination.
There are several beautiful shots in this footage, on better than the other. I like them all. And, like alway in Your films, combined with excellent sound.
Superb film, fabulous shots, locations and scenery as always. Both engines and footplate crews in top form. Cracking sound recording of the King tackling Hemerdon
