3. This removes your need for the stupid anti-reversal latch which ALWAYS slows down the assembly of the gearbox..

Can the AR latch still be removed when full auto is used? I heard somewhere that the AR latch can only be removed when semi is used. Can anyone confirm?

What "latch" are you talking about?

Do you mean the bolt release?

In normal AEGs the bolt release is just aesthetic anyway, it serves no mechanical function. Remove it or not, it makes no difference.

Even in cases of functioning locks, removing the release catch would simply disable the ability to lock back the bolt, the weapon would still fire normally.

Sorry man, I mean anti reversal latch. AR= anti reversal. Anyhow, I did some more research and I found out that after a full auto, a shot on semi will fix the angle of engagement. Confirm again? :(

@KantonBoy Yes, you can remove it on Full-Auto, as the special electrical System tracks the motion of the Sector Gear, and Stops the Gears right after they compleeted a ful cycle, even on Full-Auto. Its the same with AWS Scorpion and Pulse MOSFETs

@TeamPhoenixAirsoft Mosfets do just the oppisite, they INCREASE rof due to the wires being higher quality. A mosfet can increase rof by 1-2 bps and wiring it to a deans connector can improve it again by 1-2 bps.

The problem with active breaking for those of use who choose to run 4 and 5 cell LiPos is that the reverse current applied during breaking will eat your commutator alive. (AR latch release is a VERY useful function to have, or at least a quick spring swap) Also, the AWS scorpion has had all of this for some time, at a lower price, available for any aeg system, internal tracer, anti-dryfire, functioning bolt catch, 22 volt running capacity, (along with 300 or 400 some odd amps) and more goodies.

this is maybe a longshot and off topic,but i'll just ask.Does anybody know whats wrong wth my AEG? When I pull the trigger with a fully charged battery it responds as if it were no juice left inn the battery.I have tried taking out the motor and see if it spins normally,and it does.I have tried with 4 batteries,and I got the same problem with both. Also,befor this happened,it shot in full auto in semi position.As it is summer I really want to shot a bit. do I need a full new gearbox? ASG m15a4

@theKaarvaag1 gearbox is likely locked, or your contacts are done. try and plug a higher voltage battery in, and see if you can get it to unlock it self, if that doesnt work take the gearbox out and manually unlock it, check your contacts while your at it.

@theKaarvaag1 have you checked all of the wiring going from the gearbox to the battery, there is usually a connector half way between them which may have come undone, it could also be your trigger contacts not working - so it doesn't register your trigger presses.
