I have to laugh when reading some comments here. Lots of kings after the battle here. They get the sense of the film perfectly and knew from the begining that it was hoax. Ha ha ha. JP said in interview with Letterman that they wanted to do the film that explore celebrity, explore relationship between the media and the consumers and celebrities themselves... well then I miss more scenes from his public life in the movie. 70% is from his private life, it doesn't hit their aim at all.

As for the ending, I think the whole movie is summed up in the water drop speech "the end is closest to the beginning". The movie starts off with JP in Panama jumping off waterfalls and stuff, then JP goes into his rap career trying to find happiness in life but the real happiness is back in panama where it ends..

Well, I saw the movie 2x and I'm still confused.. I really love JP, he is one of the best actors of my generation. I think the idea to do this movie and his acting are simply genious... still the storyline is vague, full of superfluous disgusting details and the ending?... instead of that "art" swimming I would appreciate some explanation of what was going on or the point, like "ha ha, we've got you all". But it's only my opinion... Hate me or like me, just don't misunderstand me ;-)
