  • this dude is a badass putting it down for texas and washington!

  • Sorry but Earl is def. a better pick so far than Eric Berry.

  • 2:08 Supa Kick

  • 4:41

  • @silverblade43

His one play he messed up on to show he is human

  • earl was a BEAST! at texas..HOOK'EM HORNS

  • earl was a BEAST! at texas..HOOK'EM HORNS

  • earl was a BEAST! at texas..HOOK'EM HORNS

  • earl was a BEAST! at texas..HOOK'EM HORNS

  • earl was a BEAST! at texas.

  • I wonder who the better pick is now fags 1-5 you guys are a sad joke haha

  • he breaks on the ball hardcore like ed reed

  • It does not take 8yrs to rebuild, unless your the Cardinals and 49ers. Hell, we won how many Division titles with a Grade C level QB 'Glasselbeck. You guys had hall of fame QBs Montana, Young, Warner. Seattle turned shit coal into Emeralds . Welcome to The Other Coast. haha

  • This dude is getting ran threw like he in pee wee, yall really want him to be yall last defense when a NFL running back break into the secondary LMAOOOO move him to corner then he going to be a beast leaving him at safety in the nfl is not smart

  • i feel sorry for thomas because he was getting done pretty hard against ingram and richardson so lets hope he dosent go against brandon jacobs michael turner and ap lol especially head on

  • Wen week 1 comes around wer gonna own the niners!!!

  • welcome to the seahawks, my friend

  • so be it. Now look they have a star player in about every position which were drafted and not traded from other teams because they know what the fuck they are doing. The 49ers will own the Hawks like they did last year..the stats dont lie!!

  • Cdiddy51.LMAO you like the worst franchise in the world of sports! Youre over here talking shit when your team has never been good. In fact the only reason they were average was because of Shaun Alexandras (haha) break out year. The 49ers have been rebuilding for 8 years

  • @jmbsway

Hater..... you haven't sniffed the playoffs in a decade ....

  • I really like the Earl Thomas pick for my seahawks. He has all the makings of a star in the NFL. I am a little concerned though that he came from Texas, a college program that doesn't exactally produce great NFL players.

  • Earl, congratulations on being selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2010 NFL Draft. I know that you are excited and looking forward to August 14 when you all enter Qwest Field to host the Tennessee Titans. Best of luck and peace out.

  • Earl Thomas can't tackle so he's one dimensional he has exceptional ball skill but to play safety you have to be able to tackle. That's why Mack said had he come they would have moved him to CB. He is a willing but that doesn't mean anything

  • Seahawks should have tried to trade up and draft Jimmy when he was in the 2nd, would have been a perfect draft but Golden is a solid WR - will be good in a couple of seasons

  • LOL Taylor Mays is just a little butt-hurt. He wanted to play for Carrol in his hometown of Seattle. But Seattle got the better Safety no doubt about it.

  • @tukwila206 Mays won't even play safety in the NFL, dude is destined to be another safety/linebacker bust. Pete saw this.

  • @tukwila206 taylor mays will be a better safety then earl thomas though coming from a seahawks fan :(

  • no way bro taylor mays is just a big hitter hes terrible in coverage and earl thomas is a ball hog and is way faster

  • @axman788 ? Mays can hit hard dont get me wrong buh is piss poor at coverage. E-T is better at coverage( a ball hawk) buh is an awful tackler. this is coming from a USC/. we will just have to see

  • Great video, gives a really good idea of what type of player ET is.

I've seen your other highlights/lowlights videos as well, they're awesome. Thanks for posting these.

  • lol Mays gonna see Carrol and this guy in the division. Damn theres gonna be drama lol

  • Frank Gore is gonna eat this little midget for breakfast. The NFL will break this guy in half. The Hawks are crap and no amount of Pete Carroll cheer leading will help them out of the bottom third of the league.

  • @wolfemt9 Thomas won't even get near Gore becuase Tatupu, Hill and Curry will break his pansy ass! Best linebacking corp in the NFL, right there.

  • @CDiddy51 Cmon MAN, the Seahawks, Really, the freakin Seahawks, give me a break...

  • @wolfemt9 LOL, the 9ers are a joke. You guys have had one .500 season since like 2002, back when you had Jeff Garcia. Face it, we own you guys and with a REAL coach and our all star coaching staff, the NFC West is ours again. We still have the best QB, and I'll be that Whitehurst turns out better than Smith. Smith scares no one because he can't throw for more than 25 yards, you have a one dimensional offense face it.

  • @CDiddy51 Cmon MAN don't make P. Willis break Hassel bitch again, I'll give it to the seahawks, I think their the favorite to make it to the rose bowl this year, How many super bowls have the seahawks won again? oh yeah still FIVE less than the niners, thanks for the laughs

  • @wolfemt9 Too bad you probably wern't even alive for all but 1 of those SB wins. Also too bad the the 9ers team permenatelly went to shit once the Free Agency era came into being. Oh and at least Matt has balls, he didn't slide or fall down on that end zone scramble. Find me 1 QB who would have won that battle with any linebacker. Matt is the fucking man. Oh and we'll break Alex Smith, we've done it before and I'll be it happens this year once Aaron Curry gets a hold of his loser ass.

  • @CDiddy51 and you'll be dead before the sea chickens win ONE lol, give me a break hassel bitch Cmon MAN, dudes bald ass is finished. I'll give it to you though its definitely a two horse race between sea chickens and USC for the Pac 10 title, sorry cunt titty but the you g

  • @wolfemt9 You're a child, don't be mad at me because my team has DOMINATED yours since the division realignment, and because you get picked on in school and have type 2 diabetes. Can't wait to see Matt and Golden Tate rip your shitty secondary this season, Matt still has 2 or 3 years left but at least he isn't some never was like Alex Smith/Shaun Hill/JT O'Sullivan/David Carr or whoever else you clowns have started or plan on starting this decade. ROFL bitch.

  • @CDiddy51 Wow looks like someone is very angwy, i would be too if my team was rebuilding every year

  • @wolfemt9 Pot calling the kettle black... What do you think the 9ers have been doing for close to 10 years? You've had 1 .500 season since 2002, and continue picking inside the top 15 each year. We've had two bad seasons, due largely to piss poor coaching and injuries, but we've been the most consistant NFC team this decade. Nice try though.

  • @CDiddy51 Cmon Man your favorite player is matt hassel bitch, that really tells me everything i need to know about u. enjoy ANOTHER rebuilding year

  • @wolfemt9 Well as a San Fran faggot, you would know all about rebuilding since you've been doing since TO and Garcia left town. Admit it we OWN the 9ers, you clowns can only spilt games with us even when our team is out. With our guys healthy we dominate this division. Oh, and they're healthy this year.

  • @CDiddy51 stay in your hole you piece of trash, 5 superbowls vs. 0... Hmmmm who has the better franchise?

  • @wolfemt9 Typical 9er inferiority comlex logic. When confronted by a superior fan with superior knowledge counter with "duh... well... we have 5 rings, and uh... you, like don't?" Keep thinking your 9ers bear any resemblance to your daddy's 9ers. The 80's are over kiddo. Your team went to shit once the salary cap came around, and football was finally made fair after years without a cap and free agency.

  • @wolfemt9 Frank Gore is 5'9".... Thomas is 5'10". Don't you think it's a bit rich to call him a midget? Maybe you can't count. Who knows?

  • @KramerUSA Frank gore is a running back 5'10" as a safety sometimes going against wide out who are 6'2 and 6'3 yeah jump ball going to make him look like a midget

  • Great first round, great second round, now let's see if we can either trade up into the third and try to get Everson Griffen. If we do, then it will be a near perfect draft for the Hawks.

  • im a hardcore jets fan and im so jelous that the hawks got this dude...good first draft for pete carroll so far

  • @fightoffyourdemons46 I'm a hardcore Seahawk's fan and I appreciate your humility sir.

  • This vid gave me a chance to watch Russell Okung and make sure he's great not just in his highlights.

Great draft day for the Hawks!

  • As a Bears fan I must congratulate you.A ball hawking safety, and a solid O-lineman.Great draft in the first round

  • great pick 4 da hawks. go HAWKS!

  • Seahawks got him! Granted would have been nice to have Berry, but just as happy to have Thomas! Welcome to Seattle

  • @Micah1494 Ditto i think this regime drafted the right way i was really expecting Morgan at 14 to be honest. But im really greatful that Okung fell to us we got potentially the best tackle in the draft.

  • @RainNStuff Yeah I'm perfectly fine with what they're doing. #1 OT, #2 S, possibly one of the best WRs, I'm happy :)

  • Wanted Berry, but welcome to Seattle Thomas. Kick some ass. You won't even remember that "12th man" at A & M any more.

  • seahawk nation baby, i would rather have taken taylor mays but im happy with thomas...

  • @JoonBlox98 mays is big and fast yes, but he is a total wild card. he hits well, but he goes for the kill rather than try and make a play out of a poorly thrown toss. Thomas is better, has unreal footwork and visualizing, he will work well with babineaux

  • seattle seahawks got him!!! :D

  • Go Seahawk.

  • please eagles trade up for him

  • @chilltown5k so how bout brandon graham. i wanted mays.

  • @iLikevillanova pretty good hes small but fast as hell hard hitter and mays still there would be good 2nd round pick another hard hitter would be hitting defense lol

  • I would love to see him get drafted by the dolphins this Thursday

  • @panteraslipknot200 please god no

  • Best safety in the 2010 draft. Earl Thomas can do what Taylor Mays of USC can't do which is cover.

  • Ingram and Richardson from Alabama made this guy look like a joke. Give me berry instead

  • @gcjackofalltrades agreed thomas dosent like to tackle bigger guys head on. berry is better

  • Philly needs to trade up and get Thomas or berry

  • i hope we make a walker trade for him. if only we could get him then i would be fine for the rest of next season like no joke. GO DALLAS

  • Comment removed

  • i wish the cowboys could get him badly but i know thats asking too much

  • @allthingsclassicrock rumors r flying that parcells and jones are making a deal. Parcells wants his old players carpenter and sppears. .. You never know how this will unfold.

  • i still say he goes to the jags @10

    their pretty high on him

  • Welcome to the Miami Dolphins!!!

  • He would be a terrific CB in the NFL and that might be the better position for him. Great speed, fluid hips and terrific instincts and ball skills. Not at all like Bob Sanders.

  • Tackles like a cornerback, but when he does show some strength at 3:11 wrapping up Ingram

  • hey earl.......don't worry your not leaving texas.......cowboys GETTER DONE!!!!! (baby ed reed)

  • @mouthpeace01 I beleive he'll be in Texas. But the Texans will be his most likely destination.

  • Please be an Eagle!

  • Miami dolphins 1rd pick ( do it)

  • Looks like he's gonna be a dolphin... GO PHINS!

  • This kid looks pretty solid. Like a Bob Sanders type (not as good 'yet') hopfully the boys can pick him in as a 2nd rd steal. Don't know if hes worth a 1st rd pick.

  • I don't think this guy is a first rounder... He doesn't seem to tackle well enough and I don't really see him being much help in the running game.

  • Cowboys should draft him he looks good

  • the fact that the cowboys cut Ken Hamlin, they need a saftey

  • Cowboys should draft him he looks good

  • Haha at 4:40 Thomas was going for the kill but he wooofed the tackle pretty bad it looked funny haha.

    Looks promising.

  • Um yeah all the mock drafts say he's going to the steelers, which would make sense...definitely not going to the eagles or the cowboys...

  • rumors going around that cowboys r gonna draft him and i hope they do he's good!

  • i think this dude is overrated. he'll be an ok pro depending on what team drafts him! he doesnt tackle all that well as you can see in the Bama game. the QB was horrible in the OK St. game so im really not so quick to jump on this guys band wagon....

  • GO NINERS

  • he ran a 4.45 and benched more than berry, and he's only a sophmore. hes going to be an ALL-PRO.

    c'mon dolphins!

  • @carlosZ1981

Honestly, him benching more than Berry means nothing on the football field. And he's got a long way to go before becoming an All-Pro.

  • how strong he is has everything to do with on the field, ask parcells, who created the off season weight lifting program that every team follows now, so players can play longer without getting fatigued. people question his lack of size and run support, and yet he's stronger than berry, "sigh" get it?

  • @carlosZ1981

    @carlosZ1981

The amount of reps you do is more indicative of muscular endurance, not necessarily strength. Perfect example, TE Aaron Herandez benched 225lbs. 30 times at his Pro Day earlier this month. Ravens OT Michael Oher "only" managed 21 reps of 225lbs at the Combine in '09. Is Hernandez stronger than Oher? Unlikely. Thomas may indeed have a max. bench more than Berry but honestly, I've seen both players bounce off or be unable to secure tackles due to a lack of strength.

  • @Ginga the bench press is over ratted because football is a collision sport not arm wreslting the hardest hiters are guys that weigh alot and can move there mass to build up momentum and all so use leverge thats what backs like frank gore and ray rice brake more tackles then brandon jacobs

  • @bevans52

I know the bench press is overrated. I was simply bringing up an example to counter the other guy who brought Pacells' weight lifting program.

  • dolphins at 12 would be nice

  • the problem with him, is that he isn't a ball-hawk or an in the box player, so i dont know where he fits in the NFL

  • he had 8 INT's last season, how is he not a ball hawk?

  • FUTURE TITANS PLAYER!

  • This guy plays very soft. Looks like the type that's scared to make contact- much like Michael Griffin was/is.

Not sure how he's a first round pick... didn't do one thing impressive in this entire video. His pick was just a lucky right place right time gift.

    Blah...

  • future philly eagle.. if not we get taylor mays

  • @aromero07

    future eagle is right

  • y yall dnt have Nate allen from USF?

  • he is staying in TEXAS!

    go cowboys

  • lets go steelers draft him

  • Goin 12th to the Miami Dolphins

  • future miami dolphin

  • with the 20th pick in the 2010 nfl draft the houston texans select.....Eearl thomas the free safety from the texas longhorns

  • I THANK THE Eagles WILL GO FOR HIM.

  • Overrated!

  • he has one weakness and this tape kind of shows it it's those down hill runners he just a natural Free Saftey with Great a Football IQ but i would put him in the box to stop the run like i could with berry or Mays. but i think he still the #2 Saftey in the draft only behind Eric Berry

  • The pass at :16 was a risky risky pass NEVER through into double coverage especially when Earl Thomas is part of it because he'll intercept that like 8 out of 10 times

  • Eric Berry is much better!!!

  • He's a better CB prospect than a safety prospect and the titans are taking him with the 16th pick.

  • With the 12th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select, Earl Thomas, safety, Texas.

  • FredAdamsv2 likes this.

  • GOT BENGAL STRIPeS ALLL OVER THIS KID!!!!!!

  • he's not a criminal so the bengals don't want him.

  • 9ers need this guy up for the 13th pick

  • Im a Giants fan and I don't think we should take Thomas at 15.He's very talented but the safety class this year is deep.Listed in no order, this years safety class has: Nate Allen,Chad Jones,Reshad Jones, Eric Berry,Morgan Burnett, and Taylor Mays. I think Reshad Jones is the second best safety in this draft. He has the speed, size, coverage skills, range and hands. These are all intangibles that are needed to be a great safety in the NFL.Watch some videos of him.We can draft him in the 2nd-3rd round

  • i just look up rashad jones and i am with you his is more physical and bigger than Earl Thomas. This would give the Giants the chance for a linebacker backing up Karlos Dansby once we sign him to a big contract.

  • The G-Men are going to be all over this guy. with him and former longhorn Aaron Ross will easily be one of the best secondary

  • This guy is Steeler all the way

  • future New York Giant

  • 49ERS!!!

  • Eagles Draft This Guy!!

  • NY Giants secondary 2010: 1 (Shutdown) CB: Corey Webster (2nd round pick, 27 years old) 2 CB: Terrell Thomas (2nd round pick, 25 years old) 3 CB: Aaron Ross (1st round pick, 27 years old) FS/SS Kenny Phillips (1st round pick, 23 years old) FS/SS Earl Thomas (1st round pick, 20 years old) Monster secondary if healthy. Kenny Phillips might lose a step because of the surgery we can get daryl washington 2nd round.
  • @UploadingAMV giants arn't getting earl thomas so fuck off we are :D.

lol as long as he dont go to the cowboys or the ravens/bengals im good

  • lol we pick ahead of you. but yea, i wouldnt mind if you guys take him... as long as he doesn't go to OUR enemies (eagles or the cowboys)

  • The Giants will be drafting a MLB in the first round. Earl Thomas will not be a Giant

  • DAT LOOK ABOUT RITE K.P ALL DAY DOE

  • no. it'll take more than a rookie to save that secondary.

  • @tigerdasavage kenny phillips is returning from injury, earl thomas drafted our secondary is at least solid.

it wasnt our corners who gave up big plays, it was our safeties.

  • @UploadingAMV Since when has webster been a shutdown corner? Stop living in your fantasy world....giants D is atrocious all around

  • To the Eagles fans: I am too an Eagles, but I kinda hope we don't draft Earl Thomas. Its not that I don't like him. I do. Possibly the best cover safety in the NCAA. But in the Eagles system, the FS has to come down and blitz alot. I'm not sure if Thomas is able to be physical enough at his size to do that. If it were just covering then I would say go for it....but FS is probably the most important and versatile position on the the Eagles D.

  • If we dont get Earl than I hope we get sombody out FA like Oshiomogho Atogwe or Nick Collins.

  • I don't really see us getting either. If we do it would be OJ. A few Eagles players were talking to Nick, but considering the fact that he has had 2 Pro Bowl/All-Pro seasons, the chances of him being let go are slim to none. Personally, even though he might not go in the first round, I think the best safety to fit our system this draft would be Morgan Burnett.

  • I like Burnett and Tohmas but I hope Eagles dont take taylor mays.He is a huge saftey but not that good at coverage.

  • No argument there.

  • lol, Eagles? If McClain is not available at #15, the Giants will definitely grab Thomas there. Then we can draft Daryl Washington at #46. Go Giants!

  • You know how beast it would be if the Eagles got Earl Thomas.Think about it

    Earl Thomas

    Quintin Mikell

    Asante Samuel

    Sheldon Brown.

That would be the best DB line up in the NFL. Future Eagle.

  • With the 24th pick in the draft the philadelphia eagles select earl thomas safety texas

  • I think that he'll go to the 49ers we need another safety to start opposite dashon goldson

  • he will be in a cowboys uniform

  • I hope he falls to the Packers...I don't want Taylor Mays he sucks I want Earl Thomas

  • ?? why do you even want a safety? nick collins not enough? i wanna see this guy go to the eagles or texans. i dont like taylor mays either

  • taylor mays doest suck he just playing out of position, he would be better at linebacker like thomas davis

  • Hopefull Earl Thomas will be in an Eagles jersey next year

  • Get Ready to bE A EAGLE Mr. Earl Thomas

  • @TROME42 think you should get an accurate QB first....you do have a system that depends on it

  • @bsitz Last Time i checked we had 2 Qb's that are accurate an both fit our system since one of them played in it for 11yrs. So what the HeLL are you talking about?? LoL

  • So why does Mcnabb constantly throw at receivers feet? Why did Mcnabb miss two wide open receivers against the Cowboys that would have went in for tds and won the game...yeah really accurate. And who else are you talking about? An unproven QB that has never been a full time starter. And how many rings do you have to show in those 11 years? Even though you made it to the NFC championship 4 out 5 years and the superbowl once......right...zero. So like i said....you need a QB to fit your system

  • Mcnabb isnt perfect the man has did more iN philly than any QB in philadelphia's history, SO the FUCK what he hasn't got a Superbowl there is 13 teams who hasn't won one go an Bitch about them cause everybody alwayz Bitch about the Qb when its the WHOLE TEAM that might not PLAY GOOD, WHO would of thought the Pats was going to lose the Superbowl when they went 18-0 to the Gaints?? NOBODYS PERFECT JACKASS Both QB's Fit the System that means SHIT about the Superbowl its A TEAM EFFORT not ONE PERSON

  • You make valid points...but it has nothing to do with mcnabb choking in the nfc championship and superbowl....your right its a team sport....but the quarterback has to do his job....be accurate and protect the ball. He does neither...specially in clutch situations. What does the pats losing the superbowl have to do with your QB being inaccurate in a system that is based on being very accurate and making quick decisions. But yet mcnabb hops around liek a fool holding the ball and throwing at feet

  • DiD U EveN Watch the 2008 NFC Championship Game Mcnabb Helped us get back the lead in the 4th the DAMN Defence LOST That Game for us, u act like the QB pose to do everything he cant Sack Kurt, Cover Larry, Block Dockett??? We all know he cant do shit in the clutch but the dallas game NOBODY didnt step up when D-JAX was gettin double covered, everybody dropping passes, the defence was tackleing like shit, if you think the QB pose to do everything your sadly mistaken...

  • @TROME42 Dude D-Jax was wide open for a td and Mcnabb missed him. Later in the game he missed a wide open Maclin. If your QB has enough balls to poke fun at the cowboy fans before the game....make sure he can do what hes paid to do....throw the ball accurately

  • OK yeS your Right he did miss D-JAX, BUT your WRONG on that MACLIN Pass he could of cought that DAMN BALL, YEA MCNABB THREW BEHIND HIM BUT IT STILL WENT THROUGH HIS HANDS...StiLL gotta CATCH its people like you to Blame Shit on somebody when it isnt there FAULT??

  • man fuck mcnab

  • MaN FuCK U..See How Easy it iS

  • FuCk McNaB wHy dO yOu wRiTe lIkE tHiS? gOsH nO wOnDeR u lIkE mCbAd

  • O i'M sorry i didn't think you was my teacher, ok go fuck yourself you lame cunt, or do you want it in all caps, GO FUCK YOURSELF PUSSY!!!

  • yea well fuck mcnab

  • bsitz84

well said, mcnab sucks idk y people like him n dante culpepper. jake delhome sucks, mark bulgers sucks, bills dont have a qb, shit, hasselback sucks, alex smith sucks niners need a qb, who else sucks? i cant get over the fact still - that my chargers chose rivers over brees. thats like chosing to drop a water balloon on japan rather than a nuke, sure it looks cool but doesnt do anything in the end.

  • Giants better pick Earl Thomas considering Kenny Phillips is going to be out of football if not already (injury). Middle Linebacker and running-back are the only other 2 holes and those are the easiest talents to find in the league. (S) Earl Thomas/ (RB) Hardesty or Gerhardt / (LB) Daryl Washington or Joe Pawelek. I know he drafted Andre Brown but i think the Giants need another (RB).

  • check out Nate Allen's video. He might be a good option for safety as well. We can spend the first round pick on either Spikes or McClain (if we are lucky).
