@shrimp909 Well, I guess about 1000 meters, only a little bit more than a regular train... All these cars have brakes too, so when the driver reduces the air pressure in the brake pipe the brakes on the cars will be working too... The difficulty in braking heavy freights is not the distance to stop but lies more in the art of avoiding reactions in such a train! :-) Try avoiding to use the brakes in the first place, and if you really have to use them then try to avoid having to adjust the power..

If yes, a pseudo-NZJ2 train can be readily formed just by attaching two DF11G locos, one to the front and the other to the rear, to a train formed by 25T series passenger cars.

Each NZJ2 is actually a DF4D with a new hull and new speed limitation. NDJ3 is based on DF11G.
