it might be surprising for you to know, that HAFEZ was a muslim, and his poetry is not just beautiful literature, it is in fact recollections of his self-finding experiences coded in symbolic poetry.
Islam is a religion of getting to know god, through getting to know yourself... you need to separate the true Islam from that practiced today, which has lost its soul and purpose and focused on repetition of practices without the involvement of thought.
So all the attacks on people of Iran, Egypt, Syria, etc were for showing them how to know god and not for the wealth of those nations. Very interesting indeed. I did not know that you need to kill, rape and take people as slaves to show them how to know god. Hafez believed in the real god. The one in your heart not the one that has a house in Mecca.
