  • Shut up and buy a bigger tank!

  • @NickJones323 its a baby if its too big it will be uncomfortable

  • your tank is a bit to small.

  • @stacyhunter32 Not for a hatchling, for a baby corn snake it's actually a nice size. He's definitely going to have to move it up to a larger size when it gets a little bigger, but baby snakes prefer having a small enclosure, too much space stresses them out because they have a lot of ground to cover to make sure no other snakes or predators are in there.

  • Hi I'm new to all the video making so Plz look at my Chanel to see if my vids are any good and lots more to come thanks

  • @morrispcinc Unfortunately many people still have prejudices to snakes ( snakes are evil and they bite, like its in the bible and blablabla...) Ask them clearly why they do not want you to have a snake and then show them that snakes are not slimey or cold or slippy, they're warm, dry and soft when treated right. If they dont want you to feed live animals you can also get a garder snake. They can be fed only with frozen fish (thawed). Visit a breeder and let your parents handle snake

  • @morrispcinc Ask them why not get a snake and tell them snakes are easier to care for then lizards.

  • i'LL KEEP YOUR SNAKE NICE AND WARM....

  • People are saying they don't need light/heating I'm really confused im thinking of getting a corn snake soon and I still need to learn lots :/ plz help ._.

  • @Magda1497

Every reptile needs light and heating. The difference is that not every reptile needs special UV-Ray light. When you buy a corn snake the heat that it needs will come from the light bulb. A normal one from the hardware store will ne enough. You won't need special, expensive reptile light for this species. But if you don't know much about how to care for your snake, please buy a book first that shows you how to keep a corn snake as pet. Your snake will be grateful

  • @bozossnakes how llong time will the snake live there ?

  • how to u know if dey hav disises

  • do u have to change da bedding ting

  • Thanks Dude

  • can you use sand??? or will it hurt the underbelly

  • ok thanks for the imnformation

  • So I can't touch my snake for a week while it's getting used to its surrounding?

  • what about the lighting

  • bedding and hides are a waste of money just use a cardbord box and newspaper

  • mate if you get a snake you need proper equipment a snakes not a toy..

  • Don't listen to ANYTHING on ExpertVillage. The know Jack shit.

  • your heeat pad is wayy to big

  • should i use a heat pad or a heat lamp?

  • it starts at 2:44

  • I want a snake but I want to know what they feel like? Also is it possible to give a corn snake live mice?

  • u upset me with the knowledge u used idiot

  • My dad used to own a constrictor, he used dirt and no heat sorce and the snake lived over 15 years? I have a 20 gallon tank maybe a 30 gallon so will that work? also how big will they get? (corn snakes)

  • @BeardedDragon6991 snakes can live without right things provided but it wouldnt live so healthy and happy. maybe the place your dad lived was usually quite worm?? 30m gallon is a litttlllleeebittt big for an adult, but it will work, dont use it for babies. babies need around 10-15 gallon. corn snakes get 3.5-6 feet. about 70% are 4-4.5 foot. bigger or smaller than that is quite rare. hope that helped ya.

  • that tank cant even fit my fish

  • please help me! few questions:

1)is it okay for me to put a baby in a 20 gal?

2)do i need heat pad AND a basking light?

    3)UVB light?

    4) I have a light bulb holder tht can hold up to 250 watts is tht fine?

    5) i have a red light bulb but i dont know the watt how do i found out?

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • @ElectronixMan itssss fine for you to put a baby in 20 gal i am getting my third in a couple days:)

  • @ElectronixMan Something callled google. use it

  • @ElectronixMan 1) no, it's to large for a small snake, it can really scare them because they'll be timid for the first few months and that's a lot of territory that they can't keep a constant tab on, start off with about a 5 gallon and after a while move on up.

2)depends if your house stays warm or not

    3)yes

    4)yup :)

    5) can't really help ya out there, if it's not on the bulb don't use it

  • @ElectronixMan if you found out these answers can tell me them

  • @ElectronixMan 3) Corns don't really need light. They get their calcium from the bones of their food.

  • @ElectronixMan 1) I'm not really sure if it will stress the baby out from too much space, but, I've been told it is okay to use a 20 or 10 gallon for a baby corn. You can also keep your adult corn in a 20 or 30 to 40 gallon.

    2) No, you should only choose one of the two. By using both of them, you may cause your snake death from over heating.

    3) No need.

    4) I'm really not sure :/

    5) If I was you, I'd just buy a new one from the pet store so I know what watt it is.

    Hope it helped.

  • @ElectronixMan 1) I wouldnt suggest it because they feel uncomfortable

    2) YES you do they need to be warm when there shedding because they usually burrow under the sawchips or what ever you have

    3)up to you

    4) yes

    5) i dont know just get a new one

  • @ElectronixMan

1)yes you can have a baby in a corn snake

2)no you do not need any lights

    3)look up

    4)look up

    5)look up

  • @ElectronixMan 1 yes

2 only a light a heat mat might burn them if they go under the substrate

    3 no they are nocturanal

4 way lower wattage like a 75 watt

5 look on the tip or toss it out and buy a new one

  • @ElectronixMan

You will not neet a heat pad. You will also not need special UV-Lightbulbs. Just take a spot from the hardware store. It's much cheaper than the "special" reptile stuff and there is no difference for your corn snake. 250 Watts is extremely overpowered. The bulb holder is OK but you will not need more than a (maximum!) 100 Watts bulb.

  • @ElectronixMan Just take care of the temperature. If it's rising over 28 degrees Celsius ( average temp in the tank) then take a lamp with 10-20 watts less and try to adjust the right temperature. The red light you can use to get a higher temperature, just put it inside the bulb holder and let the tank heat up ( without a snake in it! ). If you have the right temp (between 26-28 degrees CELSIUS ) you can use it together with the spot lamps to create 2 warm zones.Offer cooler zones

  • isn't the terrarium a little smal for the snake?

  • @JoiiLife not really he sais its for a baby but when it get bigger he need a bigger one

  • @JoiiLife not necessarily. yes, it is far too small for an adult corn snake, but a snake which is around a year old would thrive in this. it is actually too BIG for baby corn snakes
