I think it's just a mix of Dragonball Z Budokai 3 and Burst Limit. But i think the gameplay of the Tenkaichi 2,3 is better but this is just my opinion. But i played Budokai 3 and i really liked it, but the Tenkaichi series are better than this battle system.

Also, I noticed that a lot of the moves performed by the characters look exactly the same. Like they are all doing the same move just in different colors. :/ I really haven't played the game long enough to give a fair review, but from what I can tell thus far, I don't like to PLAY the game but I do enjoy watching someone else play it..lol. It´s some kind of better version of Budokai3. People who liked the older series has to buy this.

Budokai3/Infinite World have some advantages. There are more attacks to add to charackters, so they can be more individuell. And with this system you can negate some attacks you don´t want to use. This isn´t possible with the Tenkaichi series.

Not exactly. Each newer one has something that the previous ones do not. For example: Tenkaichi 2 and 3 are much better than Tenkaichi 1, Budokai, Budokai 2, or Budokai 3. Some have things better than their predecessor(sp?), but lose good things as they advance at the same time.

Well, I went on and purchased Tenkaichi 3 and I'm currently waiting for my Tenkaichi 2 to get here. So far, I think Tenkaichi 3 is...good. Just different. My sister loves it..but it was a challenge for us to get use to the gameplay..the quick dashing kinda through me off..I had know idea that the moves would be EXACTLY like on the cartoon. I also am not a fan of the way the video in itself looks..the background looks great but the characters look out of place.

Yeah, it takes more getting use to, especially with the blocking and combos. I think that you're referring to how they are cell-shaded(I think), but the backround and all isn't. I just got done playing it lol

Yup, one things for sure it's defintely one of those games you don't get tired of playing...or in my case...watching..lol. I wish there was gore and blood though, to me DBZ just isn't DBZ with that extra bit of violence...that's why I preferred the remastered DBZ seasons in the first place. It would have probably looked weird in cell-shading though. Anyway, thanks to everyone that helped me out...I'm liking the game more and more. :)

Tenkaichi 3 is better then Tenkaichi 2, it's got some new characters, but what's really different is the gameplay, it's not as stiff as part 2 and there's a TON of new moves and combos you can do, Tenkaichi 3 is the best Dragonball Z yet, better then part 2, AND Burst Limit.

The replay value for Dragonball Z Tenkaichi 3 is insanely high because of the unique moves for all the characters, all of the characters play very differently from each other and you will not have the same battle twice

Well it is pretty weird to redo Budokai 3. BUT, they put in more characters from GT like, Bebi, Super 17, and Janemba. And the attacks are some-what more advanced. I personally think it was a good idea to make this, so that the Budokai 3 style could have more characters seen in the newer games. And Budokai 3 is still voted as the best DBZ game, since the style of fighting is more fun than Tenkaichi games.
