@kas5oled He thinks that the sentence is correct ( he told that a person in this movie told it like that ), but shouldn't it be like: " it's cool not to give a fuck about some things, but some other things are cool to give a fuck about " .? I myself am learning english as a second language too and can't convince him that the sentence has some flaws.

My friend, who is no good in english, is arguing with me about that sentence. He says, that the sentence does not need any fixing because it doesn't have any grammar flaws. I disagree.

I would say that the correct form is: " it's cool not to give a fuck about some things, but some other things are cool to give a fuck about ". It is as stupid arguement as like: 'witch came first, an egg or a chicken'. I'd like to get it right :)
