  • I wish they would STOP putting ethanol in fuels all it does is absorb water and ruin small enigne carburetors the same goes for any boat or car that sits for a while. All the EPA is doing is helping out in filling up our land fills with garbage and costing the tax payers money. Oh and all the water that ethanol gas absorbs is now polluted. Thank you EPA for ruining the water supply and costing us money.

  • It's not the ethanol thats gumming things up. The ethanol is eating away all the rubber and plastic seals and parts. That is what ethanol does to things.

  • You may not notice in your car because you are buring the fuel and its not sitting.. The clock is ticking fast as soon as it mixed. Alcohol evaporates more quickly than gas and therfore blened fuel looses its punch quickly. This is why you need a stabilizer if you are not using it within about a month.. But many stabilizers are meant for long term storage and contain corrosion inhibitors which smoke and are not something you would want in every fill..

  • Can you folks come up with a product that will remove the 15% gasoline from my E85? That would cure all of my fuel system troubles.

  • I use ethanol to keep my fuel and injectors clean. I also use ethanol to remove any trace water that may have condensed into the fuel. Hell, this "treatment" could actually be just a small container of ethanol and it would do all that you claim.

  • ethanol can take water out of your engine. I don't like people that try and blame ethanol for all of their engine problems. maybe if people are having trouble with their gas the engine might have been siting to long or they might not have put the gas cap on. I have new car and a new jet ski both running on 50 percent blind with no problems, and they are not flex fuel. Don't try and make ethanol look bad just to sell your product.

  • actually ethanol does mess things up, when there is ethanol in an engine for a while, it gums up the carb and lines. without ethanol, this is hardly a problem.

  • Ethanol doesn't gum up, it doesn't jell up. it is alcohol i have never ever seen alcohol act that way. now if you have faze separation or if the hoses are to old they might create some problems, but it is not ethanol that has jelled. I can even see it cleaning out your engine and plugging your fuel filter. your going to have to come up with a new story.
