BM is leveling, pve, soloing

MM is pvp, raiding

SV is pvp, pve, raiding.

SV is not nearly as good at pve as BM

BM focuses on haste, so stack ap

MM focuses on big crits and high dps, so stack ap + crit

SV focuses on crits, mostly on Explosive Shot, so stack agillity

For Onyxia (Old one) For me, Shamans are the way to go :D,

I had a friend solo this with a destro lock.

You probaly could do this with almost every class if you have a good enough strategy.

Tried this as a 78 BM hunter with a tanking pet... How the f*ck does your pet hold aggro? Mine can't hold it worth shit, specced properly and everything. I stand there, mend pet, MD and fire a few shots to reduce aggro

and by 85% I have aggro. What gives?

No i didn't, but then I figured out why I didn't even bother. I didn't figure out it's mechanics, and that I had to wait for my aggro to wipe (unless it was resisted) before I stood back up. So I just failed really hard. Can't solo her, though. Yet. (Level 79, working to 80)

This was done a long time ago, so my gear wasn't good at all, so as long as you can handle the whelps fine and keep yourself healed, you'll be fine I bet.

Try to stay out of range of her when you can, feign death those fireballs when you are in range, and keep healing yourself with bandages and pots. :D

To be honest, I'm not quite sure. The only reason I kept my pet there is because I remembered she did a knockback way back pre-BC and the tanks always tanked her right in the middle there.

As a BM hunter, my pet does alot more aggro than a MM hunter would do. And what I like to do is cast Bestial Wrath(with Kill Command) when I use Misdirection, then I feign.
