One of my favorite JRPGs of all time, and that's saying a lot considering the amount of JRPGs I own and play. Truly a masterpiece from story-telling, to characters, and to the soundtrack. I'd give it a 9.7(only because no game can score a perfect 10 in my eyes).

I haven't played much of Lost Odyssey yet but it seems there really isn't that much CG to ingame transitions, which is a bummer after the awesome intro battle.

I get chills when the intro transitions from CG to gameplay seamlessly. It's amazing, and I wonder why there aren't any other games in this generation that have done the same thing.

@NeuraleObutale I don't even think there's a single game now that does this effect. A few generations back though, Final Fantasy 8 was full of it and even had you controlling the characters during FMV sequences. Really mind blowing for me back then
