I can't see why Depp wouldn't agree to it though...POTC is a HUGE franchise...hell, some people could probably bank on just one of the movies - much less running through all of the films. Let's be honest, even if you missed some of them you can buy the movies you missed at the store and they'll keep you in on your feet. It's also nice that they made a bit of a "clean slate" look with the 4th film (kinda).
