  • henry rollins is from da dc area like me :D he went to bullis

  • Punk rock!

  • I saw 2 of the shows from this tour: Mother Superior with Keith Morris and Rollins playing BF songs. I feel bad for the BF fans that missed it. MS really delivered the songs and both Keith and Henry nailed it. Keith came out and sang everything from his era and then Rollins would come out on Rise Above and tear through songs like Can't Decide, My War, Black Coffee, and Modern Man (all written by Ginn and Dukowski). In DC, Ian came out with Henry to do Rise Above.

  • Greg ginn...you are one of them now :(

  • does it really matter who plays in black flag or who writes the songs or who is a big poor drunk who drinks up there moms beers

  • Rollins.. Great vocalist ..shit singer

  • I think they did it ,But they didn't get a fair trial!!!

  • ANARCHY

i do love parking spots though........

  • Irony is ... Punk videos pulled from YouTube because of copyright infringements. LOL indeed.

  • @GonsalvoDeCordova you can thank Greg for that

  • they are finally free

  • @7thegirlinglass7 It's about god damn time, fucking disgrace to Arkansas' civil system

  • this album pretty much proved anybody can sing for black flag...they still ripped...black flag brought attitude to the table...their live performances were sick...thats what punk is all about...btw...iggy pop was the best

  • reason why people hate rollins(i'm not one of those people) is cause they wished the band would of kept going with morris or reyes who most belive including myself are the better flag singers but rollins was aesome dez......well sez just sucked...sucked bad...sucked painfully bad

  • @markmaille well dez wasn't the best singer, he was a great song writer. He wrote most of their good songs including pretty much everything on Damaged

  • @FirebirdCamaro1220 only thing dez wrote was thirsty and misarable on damaged and i think he wrote machine on the six pack e.p

  • @FirebirdCamaro1220 He only contributed to the writing of one song on Damaged, which was "Thirsty and Miserable."

  • @FirebirdCamaro1220 Your statement is a little off. Dez contributed minimally to the songwriting of Black Flag at best. He CO-wrote Thirsty and Miserable, Machine, and Damaged I, and that's pretty much about it.

  • @FirebirdCamaro1220 Uh, no he didn't. The vast majority of BF's material was written by Greg Ginn or Chuck Dukowski, with some lyrics being written by Keith Morris. If Dez was a great songwriter, which ones did he write? There are versions of almost ALL the songs from Damaged being sung by either Morris or Reyes, so they were obviously written pre-Dez. My War is still Ginn or Dukowski, with some Rollins starting to pop up, and the later albums are basically Ginn or Rollins on everything.

  • @markmaille Dez was the best singer, in my opinion. I love Henry Rollins as a performer and as a person, but as a Black Flag singer... not the best. Dez is my favorite, then Keith Morris a close second.

  • @markmaille ginn is the reason there has never been any type of real reunion.

  • Henry is a total bad ass!

  • Am I the only one who is tired of the endless hordes of Rollins haters and their "he killed the band" bullshit? Seriously, later Black Flag songs are fucking great.

  • @TheGreaterGood80 they are but i do prefer the first ones although i still love rollins

  • @TheGreaterGood80 I am tired too. Don't even understand why so much hate to Rollins.

  • I prefer Henry's vocals on this version, they seem even angrier than the original. Original is still awesome though.

  • I like this version of the songs, but it sounds like Henry's vocals aren't quite what they used to be. They sound a little strained.

  • @JonErich They weren't strained before?

  • @JonErich that's because he probably destroyed them recording the original.....

  • wow the song is ok i blame the good quality of the recording but henry really put his heart into it, you can feel it it

  • I was there on the first night in Tempe, AZ on this tour. When this song played, the place went FUCKING NUTS!!!! I've never had an experience like that before, at any show.

  • @chanch420 You live in the valley? What a coincidence, I live in Gilbert : )

  • @FirebirdCamaro1220 Damn... I lived in Gilbert for the past 10 years! LOL crazy coincidence

  • This versions alright. But the pure raw grit and screams that are on the original are what I like best about this song.

  • @maroondeathtrap Just went and listened to it and I agree.

  • This version's pretty solid, but I'll take the the 1982 demo and the original record version over this

  • this version destroys the original

  • I disagree copletely

  • awesome song!
