Dude.....I got a Sony H-50 and when I record it in a club it dosn't really sound as bassy as your's, sorta like is mono based. What type of camera you used in the recording of this video? @DjAdam16 You'll have to do your homework. I HAVE to use an external mic, as the internal one distorts big time. I'm currently looking for another mic so I can get even better sound.

@PrometheusXex Yea! external microfone is what makes the difference. I heard a lot that it cuts the distortion down. My sony camcorder is amazing but inside a large venue the audio is horrible! lol

@DjAdam16 The problem with mine is that it strips out too much bass. I have to use my software to bring up what is left, which is what I don't want. I'd prefer it was recorded properly to begin with. I'm going to my homework before my next club recording and see what I can find.

This is said partly out of ignorance, so this may be stupid, but could you not just record using a direct in to the computer and then sync it with the video afterward, i know that would cut out the crowd, but it would sound great then

@camerceru It would be very rare that a DJ would allow it... especially the higher up the DJ popularity ladder you go. It's a great idea, and I've though about it in the past, but it'll never happen with the likes of Deadmau5, PVD, etc. We should all be happy they allow the videoing in the first place. Now it would be different if they hired me... but they don't! :(

Personally I thought is way really good. I've never seen him before and didn't know what to expect. He definitely didn't let me down, and by the reaction of the crowd, they were diggin it too. There were some familiar tunes, but there were also some very aggressive sounds which is what I prefer.
